Many years ago Cardinal Gibbens returned from one of his adlimina visits to the Vatican. This was just after Vatican I. One of the reporters who met him at the dock asked him, "do you really believe in papal infallibility?
Cardinal Gibbens replied, "When I had my audience with his holiness, he called me Jibbens."
