Good heavens man, by now, you should see that your conscience has been malformed, likely by your years spent outside of the true religion, and it's correction is desperately needed - and help in that arena has been provided to you. You can no longer claim your conscience as a loop hole after you're purposely rejecting the truth that's been handed to you. Such is the typical effect of dogmatic sedeism - which has you firmly within it's grip.

If you are ignorant, why should I be confined to your own wretched state?

Pretending everyone should think like you do is pride. Your ignorance isn't a sin, pretending it's humility is.

Do you think his excellency des Lauriers who had both a Phd in mathematics and a doctorate in theology knows less than you do?

He was ranked first at the Ecole Normale Supérieure. One of the smartest men in his generation.

And this is why there is a third idea.

Quote
The Sedeprivationists: This group is made up of those who have adopted a position that could be qualified as an intermediary, namely that the current occupants of the See of Peter were indeed legally elected as successors of Peter but, because of their manifest heresies, they are radically deprived of any authority in the Church of God. Wanting to safeguard the infallibility and indefectibility of the Catholic Church, but also the perpetuity of apostolic succession, they adopted a position which seemed to them to reconcile the two elements. According to them, therefore, there is someone who is elected to occupy the post of pope, and he materially continues the apostolic succession, so that no one can be elected in his place for the moment to occupy the post of bishop of Rome, but this character is deprived of the authority of God to lead the Church due to a failure in acceptance: the chosen one does not intend to seek the common good of the Church, and his acceptance is not valid. While the supporters of the "Recognise and Resist" position (the sedeplenists) believe in filtering what the conciliar popes say, accepting what is in conformity with the Faith and rejecting what is contrary to the Faith, the sedeprivationists believe useless to filter, but obstinately turn a deaf ear to what the conciliar popes preach, whether it is in accordance with the faith or not, as long as the latter have not returned to the whole Faith. They consider modern popes "to be unworthy of being obeyed, since they are heretics." Their nullam partem with the Conciliar Church is absolute, but they do not exclude the possibility that a conciliar pope will convert and be thereby invested with the authority of God, the obstacle to this investiture being lifted.

I don't think God would leave His Church entirely abandoned without a shepherd. ABL was best qualified to set a direction for the path forward in this crisis. He demonstrated a great love of Church law and obedience & respect for the hierarchy, but he also knew where to draw the line, both in how far to obey, and to what extent he can make his own judgments. He was one of the most traditional bishops who acted accordingly.

It would be interesting to know what he would do if he lived to see Benefice XVI & Francis. Would he keep waiting for their conversion? Would he clearly demonstrate to each their errors while pointing out the bad fruits? Would he consider uniting the trad clergy for an imperfect general council?

There have been different periods in Church history with no pope. And that was when The Great Apostasy and universal flagrant teachings against the Catholic faith weren't even a question.

He famously said he and de Castro Mayer 'preferred to wait'. After two rounds of Pachamama and countless other mind-numbing heresies reigned down without interruption for the last 35 years, you still think he'd be waiting to see if they were modernist liberal heretics?

Considering his excellency Lefebvre's personality and beliefs , it is likely that after Pachamama's worship he would have declared publicly that the seat was vacant.

You cling to a ghost without caring about whether he would still have the same position today.
I do not cling to a ghost - if +ABL would have gone dogmatic sede, he would have been wrong - which is why he never did. It's not complicated. Try hard as you can to always embrace the Church's highest principle and you will release yourself from your dogmatic sedeism.

Did you read Pope Paul IV's instructions telling us what we are to do about a heretic pope? I posted it above just for you. It is contrary to your opinion I know, but if you obeyed that teaching of the Church, you would cure yourself of your dogmatic sedeism. There is no good reason to disobey him as you are doing.
