Dogmatic sedes would have you believe that you are required to make up your mind about whether the Pope is a heretic or not, in order to be truly Catholic.

Why would our Lord Jesus Christ expect such a complicated decision to be made by faithful when theologians have struggled with it right up until the 20th century.

Common sense prudence tells us we stay away from things that don't look Catholic. So that means the novus ordo, liberal clergy etc. etc.

We should not have to be able to quote various quotations from theologians on the vacancy of the Papacy, like some pompous fool outside Church, in order to be a good Catholic.

It is absurd on it's face, and shame on dogmatic sedes for even implying it.

You forgot to mention the post V2 "men in white" who implemented and carried out a revolution against the Catholic Faith.  Calling them what they are: not Catholic- is what sedevacantism is really about.  And we know that you need to be Catholic to be a pope...that is also common sense.

"Dogmatic sede" is a meaningless epithet thrown at people in order to make others depart from them. It's the same as saying, "Manfred has the cooties."

A good Catholic is one that obeys the teachings of the Church.

Imagine that your soul is a boat, the world is the sea and religion is a map in order to go to heaven. The true religion gives a perfectly accurate map that, when followed, guarantees going to heaven. A false religion is an imperfect or manipulated map that, if someone follows perfectly, does not guarantee going to heaven.

It's already extremely hard to go to heaven even when knowing all the correct steps to get there. Imagine doing so while believing in the teachings of false Popes.
