This "TradOut" that QuisutDeus talks of is only applicable to cases where the inquirer into Traditional Catholicism has no access to a solid spiritual director or a church where he can obtain valid Sacraments (in other words, someone who's spiritual adviser is his laptop -- something which I am guilty of, and ashamed of).

The situation is even worse when you have a "spiritual director" like Quis' who supposedly approves of his marital arrangement. Quis and I had a discussion about the spiritual direction from one's priest before. He has this idea that we can rely on what our priest tells us to a moral certainty and he is using that to rationalize his actions. Obviously, the Church's teaching trumps whatever an individual priest says. In the same way he said that people could rely on their priest's advice to use birth control before Humanae Vitae. I see now why he said this. He had to , to justify his own situation.

That forum is turning into another Catholic Answers, only worse. I truly feel sorry for any person new to Traditional Catholicism seeking guidance at the site.

Indeed. I would truly send someone to the Trad section of CA rather than FE if they were a newbie. FE is much more sinister because they are the enemy within. CA posters, on the whole, have more of a sense of reverence and morality.
