I've heard a number of traditional priests say that none of these are abuses of the Novus Ordo.  The very structure, spirit, and general instructions for the Novus Ordo provide for virtually anything the priests want to do.

The Novus Ordo isn't the problem. IMO, there were men being ordained priests back then that had no actual vocation to the priesthood. They were shoved through the seminary with no actual care for whether they'd be shepherds for the Faith or not. And it's clear a lot of them were meant to be laymen.

The vast majority of these photos are from priests formed before the Council and slightly after. That group of priests is the most responsible for not only liturgical abuse, but the sex abuse cases that rocked the Church.

Agreed.  Pardon my French, but when the liturgical changes started taking place, some of them went buck-ass wild.

It just so happens that I have actually visited the church in Ohio where the presbyter put on the "Cat In The Hat" headdress, many years ago.  At the time, the words "introibo ad altare Dei" were embedded into the marble steps going up to the altar.  I'd say they've put carpet over that now, if they haven't obliterated it entirely.

Here's what it looked like:

What does this mean?
She's probably pointing out the existence of dogs in pagan worship. The last picture of the preceding post to hers features a man with a dog mask, which is an Egyptian idol's archetype.

I'm not VCR but I think she was mocking the "priest" that had a dog head mask on by showing that he looked akin to that demon An***s in the picture.
