  • I'm seeing on various secular forums that not only are Protestants calling Bergoglio a heretic (talk about pot calling the kettle black), but Novus Ordo Catholics have been referring to him as an "apostate", saying that they'll be looking into the SSPX, and even quoting Our Lady of LaSalette about Rome losing the faith and becoming the seat of Antichrist.

At this rate by the time of the canonizations I think the SV'ist might be the majority in the traditional movement, this is a serious possibility. I really hope that +Fellay or +Williamson start having a spine and tell it like it is. The time is approaching where being on the fence will be a sin against the Holy Spirit. +Archbishop Lefebvre did say, "Perhaps there will be a time, where we will have to say that the Pope is no longer Pope..." If there ever was a time that such a thing could be said, it has to be right now... What is worse he has barely started! Now just imagine what sort of Assisi meeting or non-Catholic "ecuмenical Council" with other Religions. He even had his own Assisi meeting in Argentina! I can't even imagine how he will outdo Assisi I in 1986. I have to say I was as hardcore SSPX as it can get, trust me I did everything in my mind trying to defend Bergoglio.

What I fear is the poor formation some folks have and they might go to Conclavism (which honestly is one of the few positions that overwhelmingly has nutters attached to it) or home-alonism. Ora, ora, ora...

  • "Let no man deceive you by any means, for unless there come a revolt first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition, who opposeth, and is lifted up above all that is called God, or that is worshipped, so that he sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself as if he were God. Remember you not, that when I was yet with you, I told you these things?"
    --2 Thessalonians 2:3-5
"This principle is most certain: The non-Christian cannot in any way be Pope. The reason for this is that he cannot be head of what he is not a member. Now, he who is not a Christian is not a member of the Church, and a manifest heretic is not a Christian, as is clearly taught by St. Cyprian, St. Athanasius, St. Augustine, St. Jerome, and others. Therefore, the manifest heretic cannot be Pope." -- St. Robert Bellarmine
