Today in the Diocese of Reno the monthly 2nd collection was to Catholic Relief Services.

It is sad that at the level of the diocese that our bishop and his staff is too preoccupied with illegal immigration to pay attention to other matters, such as baby murder.

Since the diocese is so flip about who they give our money too, I guess I will never again give to the 2nd collection.

Ditto to the 2nd collection most especially too Catholic Charities that now works hand in hand with United Way. United Way, which supports Planned Parenthood- states that only a small handful of their chapts support Planned Parenthood- however, you start looking at local UW's and you will see that money is funneled to feminist organizations- Planned Parenthood is going to get the money one way or the other.

Quite obvious. Was paying for lawsuits and covering crimes included in reasons why not to support either collection. How about wreckovations, sex ed to children, and protestant catechesis to those wanting to become Catholic? This goes for the "Indult/Moto" as well. The who valid Priest valid Eucharist might be something to take into consideration as well.
