The Rosary is the most indulgenced prayer in the history of the Church. I think it has a minor exorcism attached, similar to the St Benedict medal. Can a simple, trad priest perform a full-fledge exorcism? I thought you had to have the Bishop give approval? I'm sure he can say the ritual prayers and do a minor one.
I'm just wondering here, how does a chapel defend itself against this evil?Have the congregation pray the Rosary together? Some other devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary? Because there has to be a heavenly answer when you're talking about fighting satan. There has to be a solution, and I'm not thinking about a human one.
Dear Pax Vobis,The SSPX priest would need permission from his bishop to perform an exorcism on a person after the appropriate investigation.
The NO bishop?
Dear TheRealMcCoy,From what I understand from a priest, the SSPX has one or more priests qualified for performing exorcisms. I assume the nearest SSPX bishop would be the one authorizing the exorcism. Today there may be a different arrangement?
Cera, could you name some of the chapels?
If they are seeking permission from local bishops to perform weddings/confirmations why wouldn't they need to get permission for an exorcism? SSPX bishops have no jurisdiction.
They are sneaky, but if you to to Pablo Diablo's YT channel called 10 year old productions, you can sometimes see some of the chapels, or home chapels.https://www.youtube.com/10YearOldGirlProductions
Shortly after Msgr. Perez died, the chapel broke into disarray with chapel members going against priests and each other. A once organized, peaceful chapel melting into chaos... is a clear sign of Santeria activity.Currently, Pfeiffer is expanding his West coast TLM operations... and it's not grace that's fueling his apostolate.
