The thing that concerns me about Garabandal is that none of the so called seers pursued 
a religious life after supposedly being witness to visitations from the realm of glory.
In fact, it's my understanding that the main seer married a divorced man and attends
a novus ordo church. 
Then there is the matter of their silence over the past decades. I would be shouting
from the roof tops or the middle of Times Square if I was told by the Virgin Mary 
herself that some great miracle like the illumination of conscience was imminent in my
lifetime. 
If the point of receiving an apparition is to alert people to the peril they are in then 
they are awfully casual about it.
