My novus ordo family shared this with me today:

"Mass for Pope Benedict XIV at Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church- took the picture afterwards. Priest and Deacon wore black."

This just goes to show that just going to a TLM doesn't give a person any more knowledgeable that someone who goes to a NO Mass. The Church is vast and ancient and many things are traditional that you may not have seen in your little chapel.
