Was it Jimmy Akin?
No, it was not a name I was familiar with, but I have heard every single one of those guys start hemming and hawing when the question of "No Salvation Outside the Church" (
Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus = EENS) comes up. Yet this was the first time that I basically heard full-blown Pelagianism articulated, where the default status of an individual is being saved, and they can only be unsaved if they commit actual sin. This thinking has started to grow in the Conciliar Church since the theory that aborted babies are saved has started to spread. If infants who die without Baptism can be saved, then anyone can.
