What if Francis the apostate did a complete about face and renounced all his errors and publicly begged for forgiveness. Then after sufficient penance he chose Ladislaus to help him in the restoration of the church. Now Ladislaus had no power himself but could recommend ideas to Francis, and as long as they where in line with Catholic tradition, Francis got it done. First they did the consecration of Russia with any remaining faithful bishop they could find. After that they went wild and kicked out all the commies inside the church, brought back the Holy Roman Empire, they crowned kings, and fulfilled every dream a traditional catholic could imagine. They even hung all the dark rulers of the world. after several years of work Francis and Ladislaus rebuilt Christendom more glorious than it had ever been. Francis even made
Ladislaus Defender of the faith. But now it was time for Ladislaus to go back to his day job because everything had been restored, Ladislaus had one more recommendation, He told Francis to get conditionaly re-ordained from priesthood to pope. Francis told Ladislaus I love you like a brother for helping me restore the church, But I am the pope and will not do that.

What would Ladislaus do?
Would he kiss his ring and say, its true you are the pope
Or would he remain the only sedevacantist left on the planet and a home aloner

I wouldn't work with Francis to restore anything until he got conditionally ordained and consecrated.  Only a valid Bishop could hold the full authority of the pope, the teaching authority in particular, so I would continue in a sede-doubtist condition, as would many Traditional Catholics, due to the doubt regarding his orders.  And if Francis were in fact fully converted, he would submit to such conditional ordination and consecration in order to bring peace to the Church.  Otherwise, the Church would remain fragmented.

Was this in response to the comment I made recently that God could solve this crisis any way He wants, including converting Bergoglio?
Yes it is,  I think we would both agree that the last who knows how many presidents have not been voted into office but have been put into office.
Saying that, they hold the position of power just like Francis Who, if God wanted could do good.

Yeah, I don't participate in hypotheticals which are stupid and illogical.

My old catechism teacher Thomas A. Nelson used to give a great example of a "reductio ad absurdam": a man who loves his wife, reads stories to his kids at bedtime, pays his taxes, buys cookies from girl scouts, helps old ladies cross the street, but he has just one flaw: he's a hitman. NOT GONNA HAPPEN IRL.

God isn't going to allow the world and the Church to be transformed and apparently 100% restored, with a fake pope at the head. That is beyond ludicrous.

Our Lord Himself gave advice as follows: Judge a tree by its fruits. So no, you're not going to have delicious, beautiful fruit from a rotten tree.

Might I point out that the Conciliar Church has nothing but rotten fruit? That's why we Trads know we're in the right. In the hypothetical outlined by the OP, the world is beautiful and the fruit is delicious, but Ladislaus is tempted to be a home-aloner because "it's still a bad tree, darn it".

No, a bad tree can't bear good fruit, and vice-versa. That's not my OPINION, that is the teaching of Our Lord, Who can't be wrong.

You guys don't like having a little fun with my crazy scenario, I'm going to change it up a bit.  It's the year 2029 one hundred years after our Lady asked for the consecration, Mathew and Ladislaus are on a pilgrimage to Rome with the four resistance bishops. The armies of Satan are at the gates and Francis is getting a little worried that he is not needed any more, and just like the king of France they want his head on a plater. Francis has a miraculous conversion and wants to do the consecration with the four bishops and there is no time to be re-ordained. They do the consecration and Francis is killed along with Mathew and Ladislaus. (Sorry you had such a small part in my new scenario, next time I'm going to pick Sean, I'm sure he would follow the script)  Thus fulfilling the Lord's prophecy that the pope will end up like the king of France,

I think Ladislaus created the 007 account to argue with himself, like when Sean created the X account.  :jester:  (just kidding)
