  • In early September it was reported that Bergoglio confirmed that the only authentic interpretation of Amoris Laetitia was that it grants permission for adulterers to receive “Communion” in the Conciliar church.  I must have missed the post on CathInfo if one was made but I have been unable to find it.

A link to the article can be found here:  http://tinyurl.com/zprqpx2

When the Synodal docuмents and then Amoris Laetitia were published, two figures of "Conservativism", Cardinal Burke and Bishop Athanasius Schneider, were in the press almost immediately saying that they would "resist" any attempt to allow the divorced and remarried (i.e., public adulterers) to receive "Communion" as this would clearly be a "false" interpretation of the docuмents.

It has been a month now, and I haven't seen one article by or about either of these two figures about how they are resisting Bergoglio's false interpretation of his own docuмents.

Or have they acquiesced to what is the authentic "magisterial" interpretation of Amoris Laetitia and they no longer object, in principle, to the concept of "Communion" for public adulterers?

Their silence on the matter is deafening.
