Glad he covered it. But he'll still excuse matters around this pope himself.

Yeah, notice how Voris says Francis is siding with the lunatics ? He did not come right out and say Francis was a lunatic himself.

I don't get what all the concern is about.

Can anyone say what difference exactly Cardinal Burke as made for the defense or betterment of the faith?

Sodomites within and without the Church still moved forward with impunity while Burke was in charge, same with contraception, abortion, adultery, annulments, Assisi, and on and on and on - I mean other than Burke saying the occasional Catholic thing, he has not been a voice for the Church anymore than any other member of the NO hierarchy - so who cares if they demoted(?) him.

I don't get what all the fuss is about.

This is what I thought when I first heard the news.  Though Burke does make a noise that sounds Catholics every once in a while that is loud enough to make the news while the news Wuerl makes in invariably anti-Catholic, each new bishops we hear about seems to be just as liberal and anti-Catholic as the rest.

So, can anyone point to the truly Catholic bishops that we have in the United States that Burke has had a hand in installing?  How about the ones who, like himself, make a Catholic noise on occasion?

Voris tells us in that video that he was talking with "two solid bishops" who were dismayed at the news.  Who are these "solid" bishops and...quite frankly...what in the world is a "solid" bishop?  He certainly wasn't talking with Bishop Williamson or Bishop Pivarunas.  I can't really imagine that there are any Conciliar bishops in the United States (or probably in the entire world) that aren't pretty much made of jello:  They wobble a lot and seem to have form, but when any trial comes, they can be shaped to fit any mold.
