    • Maybe this inquiry has already been made and this subject discussed, but does anyone know anything about this guy, Matthew Kelly, and his organization, Dynamic Catholic?  I have a Novus Ordo friend raving about him, but she keeps trying whatever she can to make the Novus Ordo "work."  This is the latest fad, attempt, hope....  I have the sense that he is the "Catholic" Tony Robbins.   :P   Many thanks.

    I would say that if you know he promotes the Novus Ordo, then you know enough about him.

    • I once experienced a man who went mad, when I mentioned the Powers of the Precious Blood! Wow, I never saw anything like that.  The man was embraced, not knowing his actions would spout off like that.

    Certainly could be possessed, but nevertheless, you cannot conclude that someone who speaks of the Powers of the Precious Blood cannot still promote the Novus Ordo.

    • Anyone that seeks truth will find it. Anyone that enters the Novus Ordo seeking truth will ultimately leave it and become a traditionalist, some stay longer than others in the N.O. by God's Will, for their own good. 

    The people who remain in the Novus Ordo have abandoned truth for something they like (friends, lack of responsibility, they hold positions of authority, sins....). That said,  the few Catholics that still go to mass in the Novus Ordo worldwide (over 90% of Catholics do not go to mass), NovusOrdites, are women and men possessed by a feminine emotional spirit. Any "preacher" says ANYTHING, and they go into ecstasy.

    • This lent his ministry slogan was "don't give up chocolate for lent".  It was advertised on business cards and distributed in my local NO parish.  And, interestingly enough, I had decided to give up chocolate for lent prior to seeing this.  I went to the website on the business card for matthew kelly, and basically his message was this - "dont give up chocolate for lent, instead subscribe to my email newsletter and spend your lent with me...$$$'.  In sum, it is a shame.  Chocolate is the most addicted to food in the world, and it makes all the send in the world to forego that pleasure for lent.  He loses my respect for such a nonsense promotion.

    • If this is the same Matthew Kelly (from Australia), He was purported to have locutions of "God the Father"- that was 15- 20 years ago. I don't know if if it's the same guy or not.

    • That's him. He tried to do an Australian version of Medjurgorje, around the time it was in full swing, being visited by "the Blessed Virgin, Mary". He later dropped that line and has gone quiet on that one, but obviously not altogether quiet. He's gone where the pickings are good! A better market place.

    • He was asked to drop it by his bishop, and he obeyed. I do like that he is an enthusiastic Catholic. I do not meet them in person. When I was struggling between Orthodoxy and Catholicism, his programs on the radio kept my head straight. He comes across as a baby Catholic, loving his faith and the church, ignoring the horrors of it's present inner workings. He does give his books away. I got several. Fluff.
