I'm laughing at all the articles protesting the new Novus Ordo missal that just came out.
:roll-laugh1:Ha ha, that's exactly what I've been doing, laughing at these changes, the whining from some NO Catholics and also some of the words used to describe the changes.
From the article: "There are a lot of us who feel that the last 35 years of translation has been very banal and pedestrian, and the way that one wants to address God in a liturgy should not be pedestrian," parishioner Brenda Fairaday tells the paper.
"banal"? "pedestrian"? I guess if these people use odd words, it makes them feel like they know what they're talking about.
Besides laughing, I'm rolling my eyes and shaking my head, also.
Ok, now my emotions just changed to sadness.
And now I'm saying a prayer for Holy Mother the Church and all the confused souls who have been lost to the NO protestant religion.
