Having never heard of the family before, it sounds like one of the main issues they had was the nine splitting/leaving the SSPX and getting some of the properties. Does anyone know what she and the family ended up doing? Are they still attending SSPX chapels?
I did a quick search and it seems that they started attending an Eastern Rite parish in 1988. Sadly, the mother’s obituary lists her funeral as taking place at a Novus Ordo parish.

Kidnapping is a federal felony. I don't understand how her family didn't all go to prison for years, if not decades.

I've never heard of this before watching the video but it sounds like they had a beef with 'the nine' after they split with the SSPX and then had a beef with +Lefebvre when he consecrated bishops?

Looks like it. Just your average "traditional" family -- aside from the readiness to kidnap their daughter -- who lives on that increasingly blurred line between FSSP/SSPX. The mother's main issue with Bishop Kelly's convent was not the theology or the rule, it was that he lacked jurisdiction to start it. They also sought council from Father Lebar, the novus order prelate in the video, during this whole affair.

The weird thing is that the family is calling trads a cult, while in fact they themselves are the cult. If you define a cult as an organization that requires people to adhere to certain ideas, and to remain with the organization, even to the point of employing physical violence to prevent people from leaving, then it's the family and not the SSPV who are the cult. The daughter wanted to leave to the family and join the convent, and the family violently abducted her to bring her back to the family.

I didn't watch the whole video, but I hope somebody pointed this out on the show?
