I've never heard of this before watching the video but it sounds like they had a beef with 'the nine' after they split with the SSPX and then had a beef with +Lefebvre when he consecrated bishops?
That would be my theory. So they then went to the Eastern Rite parish because they still wanted a Catholic Mass and the "licit" TLM wasn't available, and then eventually they compromises and then went back to the Novus Ordo. But this is all just speculation.

I actually watched the whole video, and one thing with which I came away, Donahue was far more respectful of the traditional Catholic movement than I expected.  I got the impression that, deep down, he knew the new stuff is bogus.

I'm not going to get into who was right here, but if the young woman was on medication while she was in the convent, that's very likely a sign that she didn't belong there in the first place.

I hope the young man and woman returned to the Catholic Faith.  Unfortunately the mom, I'm sure out of love, panicked about losing her daughter and went down a path to justify her lack of Faith and ability to let go. Pray for them

After watching the entire program, it seems as if Susan Greve was definitely in the wrong and she obviously lied while being interviewed on the program when she said that Mary Sue was able to make her own bed at the age of 2 years old. When I heard that, I thought to myself "Come on, Susan, stop telling lies".

There is no other known case in the history of the SSPV where something even remotely close to this situation has ever happened. That should be ample proof that the Greves were in the wrong here and were not completely telling the truth. Even at the end of the program, some audience members told Susan Greve to leave her daughter alone and let her grow up and make her own decisions.

And the Novus Ordo priest whom they got to go on that program came off as an ignorant Modernist spokesman who couldn't even correctly pronounce Archbishop Lefebvre's name. He kept referring to the Archbishop as "Le-Fever" as if he was referencing the word for an abnormally high body temperature. Bishop Kelly and Father Jenkins did a very good job explaining their position (i.e. the position of the True Catholic Faith) given the short period of time that they had to speak. God Bless those who preserved then and posted the program on this site.
