  • My point is, there are 3-4 different levels of holiness, when in a church:
    1.  Normal, Traditional Catholic chapel -- requires full reverence -- kneeling, genuflecting, praying, quietness.
    2.  Church where TLM and novus ordo is said (i.e. indult church) -- unique situation, for sure.  I would genuflect but I wouldn't treat this place as a true catholic church.  And I wouldn't visit such regularly to pray.  The novus ordo is still illicit and sinful.
    3.  Historic/museum style church -- I might genuflect, just for the sake of others, to show a good example.  I might say some quick prayers related to a historical relic or sight-seeing of a famous altar or statue.  I wouldn't visit here much to pray, as it's not really a church but a museum.
    4.  Normal "modern" novus ordo church -- I wouldn't even go inside.  God is not pleased with these places.  Horrible sacrileges take place there, regularly.

    Thank you for the clarification.
