  • Firstly, didn't a lot of them already do that??

Secondly, maybe now we can finally get an "Ebonics" mass, and all the slang slingers will finally convert because the clerics finally speak their "language"! Oh, Happy Day! (Yes, that is a song reference)
Many people say "For the Honor and Glory of God!" but, what they should say is "For the Love, Glory and Honor of God". - Fr. Paul of Moll

I'd get rightly lynched, if you'll pardon the expression, for posting such here but there are already at least ebonics subtitled videos of Francis.

However, you could get some sense of "The Shape of Sermons to Come" by, for example, looking up "Shakespeare in the Hood"
    "Lord, have mercy".

  • That docuмent doesn't allow the bishops to 'design' their own mass. It only gives them greater control of the translation used in their territories. Why should anyone here care. The TLM is in Latin and that is not about to change.

It is another nail in the coffin of the modernist Vatican and another reason to leave them all to their fate.

    1. Control the words, i.e. "control ... the translation", control the meaning, control the sentence control the work, control the mind.

You're being  "nuanced" poche; it's doublespeak, and you're engaging in it just like your father/s. They either taught you well, or disgrace is "building" on fallen nature.
    2. Why care? Because it's a bunch of soul-killing lies.

    3. The "TLM" serves the same purpose it always has for the Concliar Church, namely as a monkey/coon trap. Your "religion" is the opiate of your masses.
    1. "... not about to change..." Pls. define "... about to... " Mark this assertion regardless.

What person claiming to be a "trad" that's been "innit foe a minute", hasn't seen these pernicious applications of gradualism again, and again, and again?

That's not a sauna little frog, but just "relax"; Frankie says so.

    Another door, another foot.

    "Lord, have mercy".

  •  “The Church, founded on these principles and mindful of her office, has done nothing with greater zeal and endeavor than she has displayed in guarding the integrity of the faith. Hence she regarded as rebels and expelled from the ranks of her children all who held beliefs on any point of doctrine different from her own.

The Arians, the Montanists, the Novatians, the Quartodecimans, the Eutychians, did not certainly reject all Catholic doctrine: they abandoned only a certain portion of it.

Still who does not know that they were declared heretics and banished from the bosom of the Church? In like manner were condemned all authors of heretical tenets who followed them in subsequent ages.  There can be nothing more dangerous than those heretics who admit nearly the whole cycle of doctrine, and yet by one word, as with a drop of poison, infect the real and simple faith taught by our Lord and handed down by apostolic tradition.”

Pope Leo XIII Satis Cognitum IX, 29JUN0001896

"Lex orandi, lex credendi, lex vivendi."

    (attribution uncertain)

    Gradualism? Check.

Great zeal? Only that of the (other?) Jєωs, and (other?) Communists.

    2. Principium
Consider carefully the weight of words, for there will be a test.

    "... every idle word... "

If the Catholic Faith is some kind of opiate according to you then does that make you some kind of communist?

  • I would prefer to say, "Te Deum laudamus."
It's this sort of talk that weights the scales towards the conclusion that one is dealing with a liar, and that they are in adequate, and so culpable, possession of their faculties.

This isn't about what you "prefer" or would say, but what actually has been said and what it imports.
    "Lord, have mercy".
