A Lutheran hymnal in a catholic catalog?
Autom is a company that provides various religious items including church supplies such as vestments, paraments, and things of that nature. Their target audience is the Roman Catholic Church. I ordered an alb from them earlier this year, and so I am now on their mailing list for their catalog. I was flipping through the catalog recently when I came across this picture, seeing something quite interesting in it:

Now, I'm sure not all of you know what this is. I do, because I happen to a own a copy of it. The book being held in this picture is also this book:

This book is Christian Worship: A Lutheran Hymnal. When I saw that I had to look a second, third, and perhaps even a fourth time to make sure that I was indeed seeing what I thought I was seeing. In a catalog geared towards Roman Catholics, they have a picture of an altar boy holding a Lutheran hymnal. I found it quite ironic and highly amusing, hence my sharing this amusement with you.
