I believe that Mary of Agreda said that the official charge written up by Pilate included reference to His being the Christ (again, a Tɾυmρed up charge, but the one which Pilate recorded). Jesus was indeed crucified under Pontius Pilate for claiming to be the Son of God. In this case, Francis got it right; and in justice, Louie needs to retract the accusation an issue a public apology.
