.By "drawing the line" with refusing to attend Mass, in protest of your liberal chapel, then the devil has already won.  Getting people to stop praying, or to get mad at God, or to lose their Faith - this is the goal of the Commies and the devil.  Not attending Mass solves nothing.
.
It would be like a person who protests a grocery store's food rationing program by not eating.  What does that solve?
This is a good point. One I have definitely considered and tend to lean towards this solution for the moment. I don't want to be the one to wait for the FEMA trains, as those who stood back and let all the little things happen to the Jєωιѕн people, before they finally started taking them away to be put in cσncєnтrαтισn cαмρs. There were signs before that that others just went along with. I don't want to be that person. However, giving up the most perfect prayer and the Sacrifice of the Mass probably isn't the right answer. Continuing to openly disagree even though others think I'm crazy, not only with regards to this issue, but also that of condoning use of vaccines with aborted fetal cells.
But how is this issue different from refusing to attend a diocesan indult Mass, as the SSPX has always taught, even if it is the only Mass within 2 hours of your home? Is that not the same thing? Is that also not refusing to attend Mass in protest of the liberal New Church?
All questions that I am glad I asked. Because I am getting closer to an answer on what my course should be.
Thank you.

Yes, it is scandalous.

None of us have the answers to the questions either.  That's why I have been repeatedly asking for the application of Church teaching to our current circuмstances.  As I said in an earlier post, in the mean time, I would check out another chapel even though it is farther.
Thank you. You have been very helpful. It is a very difficult situation. We have tried looking for a different chapel that does not go along with this rule. There is nothing even remotely close.
We are not against traveling. For years before we moved closer to this chapel we drove 2 1/2 hours one way with 8 small children for Sunday Mass. We are not against sacrifice or suffering to be able to attend Sunday Mass. We are certainly not against persecution for our beliefs. But we ARE against Liberal Socialistic Communism and FOR the Reign of Christ the King! Something that goes against Christ the King must be seriously considered.

The Third Commandment to keep Sunday holy is Divine Law, our obligation to go to Mass is an ecclesiastical law, it is called a Precept of the Church, it is the first of the 6 Precepts of the Church which makes it our obligation to go to Mass under pain of mortal sin, but it is not a Divine Law.

Pax is right in that our assistance at Mass is a very, very serious obligation because of what the Mass is, which is why the Church made our attendance of it obligatory under pain of mortal sin. We are *not* obliged to attend the NO, rather, we are obliged to *not* attend  the NO because of what *it* is.

But none of that applies here, because while the taking of names for the government should never be allowed, much less with the approval of trad pastors, it is really only pure intimidation on the part of the commie government, and please note that only some people will be intimidated by it, others will only be irritated, some will blow it off completely while going to Mass without any issue at all. I would say find somewhere else to go and don't let them intimidate you to the point that it makes you stay away from the Mass in the mean time.

This is a beautiful, reasoned answer. Thank you so much.

You not only "didn't know" what I was talking about but you didn't know what the OP was talking about.

Still don't know what you're point is.  You keep arguing for reasons why you don't have to go to church.  Sounds protestant.  Or the sede-logic of why it's ok to "stay home" (i.e. because I'm special, everyone else has "lost the faith").  Either way, it's not catholic thinking.

You can try to organize like-minded people and put pressure on the priest to explain/change what's going on.  History shows that a small # of determined people can make changes.

A diocesan indult mass is immoral because they openly and legally (per +Benedict's "motu") accept the novus ordo as catholic and good, which it's not.  Those who say/attend the indult mass accept the Revolution in the Church, with V2 and all the sacrileges that happen at the new mass each week.
.
Going to an sspx mass has no relationship with vaccines or aborted fetal cells.  It's not part of the liturgy; it's not part of purpose of the Mass.  Vaccines are a separate moral issue, while the Mass is a liturgical/Church act.  Unless you were required to have a vaccine in order to attend Mass, then your obligation still remains for Mass.
