  • I can't figure out how to post just the video, but this one is another real lulu.
The top paragraph of my signature applies for sure.

    Rorate Caeli

One of the comments: I'm shocked - shocked - that the balloons are not all the proper color for the liturgical season. What was Father thinking?

  • I sincerely regret viewing the video.

Lofty sentiments, those.  Even little children, which nearly always are deep thinkers (contrary to what the world wants to us to believe) can speak more profoundly of God.
The good shepherd giveth his life for his sheep.  But the hireling, and he that is not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and flieth, and the wolf catcheth, and scattereth the sheep.  A

One of my sons recently asked where his cousins (protties) attend "church." One of my daughters answered, "It's not a real church." Proud papa!
"This principle is most certain: The non-Christian cannot in any way be Pope. The reason for this is that he cannot be head of what he is not a member. Now, he who is not a Christian is not a member of the Church, and a manifest heretic is not a Christian, as is clearly taught by St. Cyprian, St. Athanasius, St. Augustine, St. Jerome, and others. Therefore, the manifest heretic cannot be Pope." -- St. Robert Bellarmine

  • They've updated the article with a video of another Redemptorist giving a homily at the same parish - and I'd say it's worse than the first.  He takes a few shots at Latin and the True Mass while encouraging creative liturgies (?).  Heavy emphasis on the Eucharist as a meal, acceptance, inclusivity, and other vacuous nonsense.

Then he goes on to reflect on the inspiration he gained at a GLBT "Mass" in Soho, London.  Apparently there were a few brave souls praying outside this "reverent" rainbow-liturgy, and here is his take on that:

    Quote
"What affected me very badly about that day was that outside on the street were a group of 10 to 12 people with Rosary beads praying, I think, for the conversion of those inside the church.  To me it was an appalling reflection of a lack of understanding of what Eucharist is all about.  I really wanted to go out to them and say, 'come in, this meal is for you as well.  Join the Body of Christ.'  We are all that Body in a non-judgemental way, in an inclusive way."

No thank-you.  This man isn't preaching the same message delivered by Our Lord, trasmitted by His Apostles, and paid for with the blood of martyrs.

"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach a gospel to you besides that which we have preached to you, let him be anathema."  Amen.
    Confortare et esto vir.
