I listened to this live today. Bp. Sanborn gives a clear and hard-hitting analysis of Ratzinger's theological errors before his election in 2005.http://www.blogtalkradio.com/restorationradio/2013/02/20/restoration-radio-xx-the-legacy-of-benedict-xvi-part-iPart 2 is scheduled for next Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 2:30PM.Some points are sede, but most people here will probably agree with nearly everything he and Father Cekada have to say.
Quote from: Larie Regarding the Cardinals and their ability to elect a new pope - last night on Restoration Radio, Bp Sanborn was interviewed - and Fr. Cekada jumped into the show about 1/2 way. It was said that juridically the modernists hold these offices. The show is now in podcast. The last two callers - and the answers given - are worth listening to. That starts around the 33 minutes left mark. Hit "download this episode" under the photo. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/restoratio ... nedict-xvi Oh wow! I can't believe what Bishop Sanborn actually says in that answer (1:31:30). The Modernists are not juridically heretics! A crime can be de facto a reality, but until a court declares it, it has no juridical effects??? Unbelievable. Does he deny that acts may have effects in law ipso facto, as the law, in many places, explicitly states? He evidently denies that censures can be imposed automatically by law, yet this is to maintain a condemned proposition. Stunning. Then at 1:33:08 Fr. Cekada comes in and says that to a very large extent he agrees with Bishop Sanborn's statements! He then says that despite some merely theoretical difference he has with Bishop Sanborn, he has no practical difference with him. It's amazing what chasms can be papered over by loyal friendship. It's admirable, indeed. I have little doubt that these men could see their way clear to remaining on good terms with the SSPX on a similar basis, if indeed there was any loyal friendship available to paper over the cracks... But there isn't. And that suggests that their real differences with the SSPX are personal, not principled.

Patience, mboucher! Once SJB gets ordained, someone will finally give us ALL a proper example of how a real Catholic priest should conduct himself."SJB" = "Second John Bosco!" :rahrah:

SJB the one who uses St. John Bosco as an avatar, though his sour and critical comments here are about as far away from the spirit of the saint as you can get. I'm just pointing out the contradiction.
