  • Joseph Charles McKenzie and Laypopes.com

A recent post from Thomas Droleskey:

    Collapsing Before Our Very Eyes

Although I have not sought to defend myself against the distortions and character assassination on the Laypopes site, the most recent, vicious, vile, ugly set of lies posted on this demonic site calls for a brief commentary in order to condemn in the strongest terms possible the insidious attacks made upon Mrs. Stephanie Johns and Father Markus Ramolla. The attacks on Mrs. Johns, whose story was told two days ago in The Firing of Another Teacher and in the News section of the SGG INFO website, are the most terrible things that I have seen clergy do to a happily married Catholic woman and her husband and a courageous priest. Not even the Novus Ordo thug bishops have stooped to this kind of depravity in most instances.

According to information that has been provided to me, the man responsible for the Laypopes site is one Joseph Charles McKenzie, the president of the Catholic Institute of Arts and Letters. McKenzie is very good friends with Bishop Dolan and Father Anthony Cekada. Readers can draw their own conclusions as to the level of collaboration that exists among these three merchants of evil and lies, men who have stooped so low now as to attack an innocent married woman solely to discredit her as a witness against the degradation that exists at Saint Gertrude the Great School.

Shame on you, Bishop Dolan. You seek to "save" your "work" by showing us all that your "work" is not worth saving.

Shame on you, Father Cekada (who is not Robert Rawhide as had been thought by one of those chat room hosts; that honor belongs to a man named Robert Sheahan, a man who lives under a number of assumed names in the crevices of the internet). You show us that you are amoral and that you have no regard for truth or even Masonic decency.

Shame on you, you coward Joseph Charles McKenzie for anonymous exercises in character assassination. (I sent McKenzie a series of questions that I asked him to answer by last evening. He did not respond to my requests even though I told him that I would post the questions without his responses if he failed to answer.)

Shame on you, Bishop Donald Sanborn for not raising your voice publicly against the Laypopes site and for not stopping the descent of Bishop Dolan and Father Cekada into a degree of abject evil that makes the scorched earth policy of Bill Clinton during Monicagate seem tame by way of comparison. How can you lay moral claim to oppose Ratzinger/Benedict when you don't have the moral courage to speak out against these evils? (Father Cekada is scheduled to teach at Most Holy Trinity Seminary this very week. I wonder if he will be teaching the "Ethics of Witness Intimidation" while there. Just the sort of person to form the souls of future priests.)

Shame on each member of the clergy who has been in the tall grass until now and has refused to raise his voice in protest over the evils being committed by Bishop Dolan and Father Cekada and their compatriot McKenzie in New Mexico.

The attack on Mrs. Johns and Father Ramolla on this egregious site is one of the most terrible things I have ever seen in my life. Bishop Dolan is presiding over the darkening of the name of Saint Gertrude the Great, who will be known to many people from now on not as the lover of the Sacred Heart but as the patroness of a parish whose clergy stopped at nothing to defend themselves by attacking others with filthy lies as a priest and lay people sought to protect the innocence and purity of the young.

How anyone can continue to attend Saint Gertrude the Great Church from this point forward is beyond me. It is nothing other than a den of pure evil wrapped in sanctimony and fraud.

Please pray for Mr. and Mrs. Johns and their daughter Raissa Anne and for Father Ramolla as they carry this cross that God has known would be visited upon them by vicious liars and amoral reprobates.

We must forgive our enemies. This does not mean, however, that we can't call evil by its proper name and denounce it as such.

These are the questions that I posed to Joseph Charles McKenzie yesterday that have remained unanswered as of today at 2:30 p.m., Eastern time:

        Dear Mr. McKenzie,

Information has come to me today from several sources around the country identifying you as being responsible for the Laypopes site. You were one of the individuals who came to the minds of several people as soon as the site was launched. It took some time to put all of the pieces together.

I have questions to ask you for the public record in an article that I will posted this evening on this matter.

        1) Do you confirm or deny that you have any connection to the Laypopes website?

        2) Do you confirm or deny authorship of the "Ballad of An Armchair Pope"?

        3) Do you confirm or deny that you have added other content of your own to the Laypopes site?

        4) If you are indeed responsible for the Laypopes site, do you confirm or deny that Bishop Daniel Dolan and/or Father Anthony Cekada have provided information to you for use on the Laypopes site?

        5) If you are indeed responsible for the Laypopes site, have any bishops or priests other than Bishop Dolan or Father Cekada supported you in this effort?

        6) If you are indeed responsible for the Laypopes site, why have you hid behind the cloak of anonymity in doing so?

        7) If you are indeed responsible for the Laypopes site, do you believe that Mrs. Stephanie Johns is lying about the abuses she witnessed at Saint Gertrude the Great School? Do you have any first-hand evidence in your possession that she is lying?

Might the source who provided me with the information about the horrible site be mistaken? Might the source have been attempting to provide disinformation in order to seek to test the person to whom McKenzie's identity was revealed? Anything is possible given the Machiavellian nature of the anonymous cowards behind the evil website. The man responsible for revealing McKenzie's name knows who he is. So do I. I forgive them all. We do know for certain that Bishop Dolan and Father Cekada have not even privately condemned the horrible website, something that speaks, at the very least, of their approval of it.

I have learned that Joseph Charles McKenzie sent out an e-mail on November 24, 2009, containing "Ballad of An Armchair Pope," asking a recipient to pass it along to her list, which she refused to do. This was done, as we can now see, to "direct traffic" to the egregious site." Looks like the source who blabbed was telling the truth this time (for a change).

Evening update: I have just received two e-mails that prove Joseph Charles McKenzie, a close personal friend of Bishop Daniel L. Dolan and Father Anthony Cekada, is the man responsible for the Laypopes site.

The first e-mail was sent on November 19, 2009, before the evil character assassination site was formally launched as a birthday gift to me (and I accepted it as such):

          -----Original Message-----
        From: Joseph Charles McKenzie [mailto:cathinst@comcast.net]
        Sent: Thursday, November 19, 2009 1:03 AM
        To: (Recipient's Name Removed)
        Subject: Please Distribute

        http://laypopes.weebly.com

It is plain to see that the egregious site was still in development on November 19, 2009.

The second e-mail was sent on my birthday, November 24, 2009:

        ---Original Message-----
        From: Joseph Charles McKenzie [mailto:cathinst@comcast.net]
        Sent: Tuesday, November 24, 2009 9:39 AM
        To:  (Recipient's Name Removed)
        Subject: Wonderful site! Please distribute!
        Importance: High

        http://www.laypopes.com

Although no further proof is really necessary, I received this e-mail from another reader at around 8:30 p.m., Eastern time, this evening:

In case you did not already know this, I checked the domain registry for laypopes.com and it is registered to the same registration service provider (IPOWER, Inc.) as the Catholic Institute of Arts and Letters website (cathinst.com) to which Mr. McKenzie's name is attached as the owner.  Ownership of laypopes, of course, is hidden.  But, people tend to stick to the same provider...

God takes His time, my friends, but He is just. He does not let cowards hide behind such evil works for long. Joseph Charles McKenzie and Bishop Daniel L. Dolan and Father Anthony Cekada have been, as us uncultured folks from the streets of New York would say, busted. The "Laypopes" site stands exposed as nothing other than a cowardly propaganda arm of Bishop Dolan and Father Cekada. Gratuitous denials making the preposterous claims that this is not the case are simply not worth anything. The facts above speak for themselves.

We have great feasts to celebrate this week, including the Feast of Our Lady's Immaculate Conception and the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Christmas Day is but nineteen days away. The cowards, whose identities are now revealed for the world to see, on that evil site can continue their dirty work. People can believe what they want. I will concentrate on my work against Modernism and in defense of the Social Reign of Christ the King and let the spiritually dead bury their own.

Let us pray an extra set of Rosaries each day until Christmas Day as a spiritual bouquet to be given to Father Ramolla and Mr. and Mrs. Johns in gratitude for the sufferings that they are enduring so bravely for the good of Holy Mother Church at this time as the clients of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. And, of course, although it is necessary to denounce the works of evil done in darkness with great firmness and conviction, we must keep those who have persecuted and calumniated these innocent souls very much in our prayers, especially at Holy Mass in the Memento for the Living and in our daily Rosaries!

Our Lady of Mercy, pray for us.

  • If it is the noble enterprise they claim, why do they seek to remain hidden?  Whoever it is, he/they is/are gutless assassins, like unto those they defend.

  • By the way, if anyone wants to read it, just go to

    Google

    and type in

    laypopes

And it will come up. You have to click the little link that says "cached" and also "Show more results from www.laypopes.com"

You can read/save off the entire site if you wish.

I saved off the Ballad of the Armchair Pope and read most of it.

As far as the poetry itself, it is good. VERY good. He doesn't make a single blunder as far as meter goes, and he doesn't force many words either! He also has an impressive vocabulary. Meretricious?

I've read lots of people's attempt at poetry, and my guess is that this man is A) educated and B) Celtic. I'm going to further guess that C) this man's last name is McKenzie.

Wait. Does that mean non-celtic people can never be genuine poets?  :)

  • No. Is that even a logical assumption?

I never said anything about non-Celtic people.

McKenzie used to socialize with "genuine poets" in Scotland, and he told me all about the Scottish flair for poetry. That applies to the Irish as well.

Saying that Celts are good at lyrics/poetry is just a general rule. It doesn't imply that ALL of them are, or that they are the only ones, etc.

You'd be surprised at how true most stereotypes are. If they weren't, then WHY would they stick around? Are you implying a leader-less conspiracy where thousands of independent minds insist upon thinking that same thing that is wrong? Not likely.

They say Germans are good engineers. Guess what? They are. Just to take one example, my wife's 2 brothers -- highly German -- both are involved in Engineering right and they're quite good at it. Who invented jet planes, rockets, the atom bomb, and hundreds of other things? Germans. They are meticulous/have an attention to detail. In the Church, Germans often get into Scriptural exegesis.

They say Italians are good artists. Guess what? They are. They're also very family-oriented, and are good entrepreneurs.

Jєωs are good with money. And so on.

Humans DO have to make generalizations to get by. I bet you do it yourself every day without realizing it. It's part of having a rational soul.

If I had blueprints for a windmill from 2 people -- one named DiLaurencio and one named Heggenberger -- I'd probably go with the latter. After all, I don't know either man, and I can't really find out their skill level before I sign on with one of them. All I have is a "best guess".

But if those two men were applying for a sales position, I'd probably go with DiLaurencio. Germans are too melancholic and self-conscious to be good salesmen.

If you mean Dr. Droleskey, as far as I know he intends to speak the truth on these matters, so long as such is necessary, although his main focus will remain as always -- promoting Christ the King.

If you read his recent writings, he is quite plain that he knew certain things but remained silent through various motives -- now admitting he should not have.  Love him or hate him, or indifferent toward him, admitting that one should have spoken before one actually did so takes courage.  Credit must be given where it is due, to Dr. D and to those who will eventually come to speak truth to power in the proverbial eleventh hour.

It is also important to be just in one's treatment of another's "timing" in seeing things as clearly as you think they should have. A good man tends to dismiss the faults of others as much as possible and often refuses to hear those faults exposed by another. That should not be held against him.

Once I heard of the abuses going on in the SGG school, I was willing to listen and then demand an explanation. All I have heard to date is a denunciation of the accusers or just plain stonewalling.

The MO of Bp. D/Fr. C is to access what "side" you are on and then discredit you if they perceive you are "against" them. The truth is irrelevant. Neither one can even begin to think that you might be just trying to get at the truth of a situation.

It would be comparatively easy for us to be holy if only we could always see the character of our neighbours either in soft shade or with the kindly deceits of moonlight upon them. Of course, we are not to grow blind to evil

And that, my friends, is a red flag for anyone of good will.

Why use such tactics, if they are innocent? That is not how innocent men behave.

Agreed.  I have made it clear to Dr. Droleskey that things unfold as they are supposed to, and the when/how/why of things is not in our hands.  He, not I, is the one, FWIW, who believes he should have spoken sooner.

The red flag IS that they are not men of good will. They are not "using" such tactics...it is their normal mode of operation.
