Someone wrote in suggesting that legal action was imminent -- I'm not looking to get involved in that. I don't want CathInfo involved as evidence, a target, a pawn, nothing. I want to stay out of it. I don't know or care about the priests mentioned by Catholic Militant, or any other SSPX priest, one way or the other.

If you were hoping I'd be jumping on my white winged horse Pegasus in full Knight's armor to lead this crusade, I'm sorry to let you down.

I don't have a dog in the fight (neither children under SSPX care, nor am I familiar with any of the priests involved) so there's no point sticking my neck out for legal trouble(s).

Plus I can't ascertain the truth/falsehood of the charges made by CM. I don't know any of the priests involved. So there would be a very real risk of cooperating materially in slander.

I don't know the priests, and neither do most of you. Therefore, I don't think CathInfo has anything to add to this "case". But if you want to know what CM says -- if you MUST hear the juicy gossip -- go to CM.

IN SHORT: I don't know which reason is stronger for staying out of this one: legal or moral.
