I always saw the $120 Million as a bribe for the SSPX rebranding. Handing their marketing & communications over to a Dutch rebranding firm. Then doing an about face with Rome and kissing up to Ratzinger.

Yes ... you can see the striking before and after in Sean Johnson's book, and Krah appeared to arrive right around the pivot point of that transformation.
