So, Jorge appointed this guy as the new "Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine [sic] of the Faith [sic]", formerly known as the Holy Office (of the Inquisition), and evidently being renamed again as a "Dicastery". No "Rottweiler" this guy. He's widely acknowledged as the ghostwriter behind
Amoris Laetitia, and says he's more progressive than Jorge himself. What I found most interesting, however, were his comments about Jorge.
https://schismatic-home-aloner.com/pope-appoints-longtime-ally-and-ghostwriter-of-amoris-laetitia-as-new-vatican-doctrine-chief/ ... This is from LifeSiteNews but I can't find the original link.
The Pope [sic] goes slow because he wants to be sure that the changes have a deep impact. The slow pace is necessary to ensure the effectiveness of the changes … You have to realize that he is aiming at reform that is irreversible. If one day he should sense that he’s running out of time and doesn’t have enough time to do what the Spirit is asking him, you can be sure he will speed up.'
...
[Bergoglio] is convinced that the things he’s already written or said cannot be condemned as an error. Therefore, in the future anyone can repeat those things without fear of being sanctioned
So Jorge goes slow because he has a "boil the frog" tactical approach. You let
Amoris Laetitia sink in, let people get over the initial shock, get "used to" it, until it becomes the accepted
status quo ... and then build on that with the next thing. Also, if something gets established like this, then all the radicals can make sure they can promote Jorge's radical teachings "without fear of being sanctioned".
He also predicts that if Jorge thinks he's "on the way out", he would accelerate the changes. That might explain why he released
Traditionis Custodes shortly after he had that one hospitalization and health scare.
This speaks to a deliberate agenda of destruction. It also suggests that
Amoris Laetitia and
Traditionis Custodes are only a small step in the direction of his final goals, and he's not even close to being "done" yet. Jorge wants to rebuild the Church in his own image.
