  • In view of the recent happenings in Rome, Mumbai layman, Brian Michael,76, has penned this article:

    Martin Luther and the Mass
(To be read in conjunction with Bird’s Eye View of the News – byAtilaSinkeGuimaraes: http://traditioninaction.org/bev/195bev09_30_2016.htm)
Listen to the words of Luther:
Luther hated the Mass. He called it an “abomination”, “a false blasphemous cult”, and instructed the rulers under his influence to “attack the idolators” and to suppress their worship as much as possible. He repeatedly denied its true sacrificial nature and hated the “abominable Canon in which the Mass is made a sacrifice”. As he put it “the Mass is not a sacrifice…call it benediction, Eucharist, the Lord’s table, the Lords supper, memory of the Lord or whatever you like, just so long as you do not dirty it with the name of a sacrifice or an action.” Indeed, he went so far as to say, “I affirm that all brothels, murderers, robberies, crimes, adulterers are less wicked than this abomination of the Popish Mass”. As to the Canon or the core of the mass he stated, “That abominable Canon is a confluence of puddles of slimy water, which have made of the Mass a sacrifice. The Mass is not a sacrifice. It is not the act of a sacrificing priest. Together with the Canon, we discard all that implies an oblation.” (Taken from THE DESTRUCTION OF THE CHRISTIAN TRADITION by Rama P. Coomaraswamy M.D p. 146-147)
In words that are almost prophetic he noted that, “When the Mass has been overthrown, I think we shall have overthrown the Papacy. I think it is in the Mass, as on a rock, that the Papacy wholly rests…everything will of necessity collapse when the sacrilegious and abominable Mass collapses.” (Ibid p. 14)
It is clear from the above that Luther rejected entirely the idea of sacrifice in the Mass and insisted that the sacrament was a gift of God to man and not an offering of man to God. (Taken from Clifford Nelson, Invitation to Worship, Devotional Study of the Lutheran Liturgy p. 115)
    Excerpts from a Lutheran Catechism
    QUOTE…
“…This transubstantiation (changing of the bread and wine into the body and blood of Christ) is a purely papistic figment and had no foundation in the words of institution nor in any other part of the scriptures. What do you think of the Sacrifice of the Mass, in which it is pretended that Christ is daily offered by the priests, in an unbloody manner, for the sins of the living and the dead?”
“I hold this to be abominable desecration of the Holy Supper, which directly conflicts with the institution of Christ itself, as it was designed for the living (not for the dead), to be eaten and drunk (not to be offered).” (Dr. Dietrich, Dr. Martin Luther’s Small Catechism, p. 201)
    UNQUOTE…

    Vatican II Taught Heresy
The unity of the Church, namely that the Church of Christ is not exclusively identified with the Catholic Church, but merely subsists in it. Vatican II and John Paul II’s heretical dream of full Communion with other Churches is like trying to make two parallel lines meet. In order to achieve this, Ecuмenism had to be given a new definition and the Encyclical Letter of Pope Pius XI, On Fostering True Religious Unity, MORTALIUM ANIMOS, given on the 6th day of January 1928, had to be grossly violated.
According to the Encyclical ‘Mortalium Animos’ of Pope Pius XI, “There is but one way of which the unity of Christians maybe fostered and that is by furthering the return to the one true Catholic Church (The Church of Christ) of those who are separated from it; for from that one true Church they have in the past fallen away.” (Martin Luther himself is a good example) The true Ecuмenism that, as practiced till Vatican II stepped in, maybe defined as that bond of doctrine and government which unites all Catholics in every region and Diocese in one body. True Ecuмenism seeks to bring all men to that unity (Catholic unity). Prior to Vatican II Ecuмenism referred to the Apostolic Endeavour to make the whole world Catholic. It is therefore clear that the Holy See can never take part at Non-Catholic congresses, and it is not permitted at any price that Catholic’s should join such enterprises or contribute to them; if they did so they would be giving into a false Christian religion. These ‘Pan Christians’ seem to follow a noble design in promoting charity between all Christians, but how could Charity turn itself into the detriment of the faith?
Therefore, in order to permit interfaith meetings and inter religious dialogue, Vatican II had to give Ecuмenism a new twist, a new meaning, totally different to true Ecuмenism.
The Ecuмenism of Vatican II states that Non-Catholic religions are ‘means of salvation’. This is nothing but heresy. Walter Kasper, the right hand man of John Paul II, appointed to handle Ecuмenism, openly stated that Ecuмenism does not any longer need returning to the Catholic Church. There is no need for converting. If you are a good Jєω, remain a good Jєω and so on. The word ‘conversion’ and even the concept ‘conversion’ are absent from the Vatican II decree of Ecuмenism. The new Ecuмenism has lifted the ban of Mortalium Animos of Pope Pius XI. Participation at Non-Catholic services which was once entirely forbidden and condemned, no longer stands valid. Today interfaith meetings and interfaith dialogue are freely practiced and permitted. Today’s Ecuмenism and Dialogue are the two ways of adapting the Church to false religions. Vatican II put all this into circulation. In short, the Ecuмenism of Vatican II is searching for a certain unity at the expense of faith.
While Vatican II was in session on October 27th, 1963, Bishop Grotti of Acre E Purus, Brazil asked the Fathers of the Council this… “Does Ecuмenism consist in confessing or in hiding the truth? Ought the Council to explain Catholic doctrine, or the doctrine of our separated brethren? ... Hiding the truth hurts both us and those separated from us. It hurts us, because we appear as hypocrites. It hurts those who are separated from us because it makes them appear weak and capable of being offended by the truth.” Bishop Grotti concluded his rebuttal with the plea, “Let the schemas be separated. Let us profess our faith openly. Let us be the teachers we are in the Church by teaching with clarity, and not hiding what is true.”(Taken from The Rhine flows into the Tiber A history of Vatican II- by Fr.Ralph M. Wiltgen. S.V.D p. 95)
The Catholic Church previously addressed those outside the Church as heretics, schismatics, and infidels. The Church of Vatican II refers to them as “separated brethren and sons”.
Vatican II opened DIALOGUE with the enemies of the Church and John Paul II loved it. Christ never engaged in dialogue with false religions or joined in pagan worship. Christ never compromised in matters of faith. He opposed error and taught the true way to God. John Paul II did just the opposite of Christ.
John Paul II had the audacity of saying, “Buddhism from a certain point of view like Christianity is a religion of salvation.” (Taken from Crossing the Threshold of Hope-  by John Paul II p. 84) What exactly does John Paul II mean by this? Jesus was embarrassingly clear on this point. He said, “I am the way and the truth and the life.” (John 14:6) Jesus did not say, “I am A way, A form of truth, A way of life.” No, He was absolute. Are all religions equal in God’s sight? What about Jesus’ command to the Apostles to take the Gospel message to all the four corners of the earth. Jesus was not one teacher amongst many. Was John Paul II ignorant of this fact? What upset the Romans was the claim that taking Jesus for God required one to abandon all others. I quote St. Paul, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel. It is the power of God for the Salvation of everyone who believes.” (Roman 1:16) All religions are not equal in God’s sight and John Paul II is teaching heresy.
John Paul II has consorted with Protestants, Greek Orthodox schismatics, Buddhists, Jєωιѕн rabbis, Hindus, Moslems, African Voodoo doctors, and at Assisi the Crow Indian medicine man from Montana, Mr. John Pretty-on-Top. At Lake Togo in Africa, he participated with tribal animists in the pagan worship of ancestors by sprinkling a mixture of flour and water on the ground, as a sorcerer invoked the spirits: “Power of water, I invoke you; Ancestors, I invoke you.” (As reported in the Italian edition of the Vatican newspaper L’Osservatore Romano August 11 1985 p. 5)

Is John Paul II a DEFENDER or DESTROYER of CATHOLICISM?
Millions have shed their blood for Christ rather than worship idols, or take part in false worship. Why is John Paull II joining in false worship if the Catholic Church is the true church founded by Jesus Christ. Did the millions of martyrs shed their blood in vain? Should Christ have dialogued with the Pharisees rather than defend the truth?

Careful Analysis of the writings and speeches by John Paul II shows that he almost exclusively quotes from, and refers to, the three previous ‘Popes’ (John XXXIII, Paul VI and John Paul I) and Vatican II. He refuses to make reference to the other Popes and the previous councils of the Church. It was as if they never existed.
Was John Paul II leading Catholics astray with interfaith meetings?
It is absurd and ridiculous to say that the mystical body can be formed out of separated and disjunct members. For 2000 years, that is, before Vatican II, the Popes, the saints, the fathers taught Catholicism one way while Vatican II for the past 52 years has taught it another way. This begs the question, is it the same Church?
Christ warned us of false prophets and deceptive men. For over 50 years Catholics all over the world have been drinking the poison of Vatican II.
Pope Saint Pius X gave the warning when he issued the encyclical Pascendi Gregis that there were men in the “very bosom” of the Church determined to destroy her “vital energy” and utterly subvert the very kingdom of Christ. Pope Pius X also called them the worst enemies of the Church.
“Take heed that you be not seduced.” (Luke 21:8)
Martin Luther did not believe that Christ was actually present in the Host, but that Christ is only symbolically present in the Eucharist. Have Catholic Churches become Lutheran Churches? Is it not a fact that most of the laity as well as so many priests do not know that the Church of Rome incorporates more of Luther’s reforms. The Lutheran liturgical phrase, “Christ has died, Christ has risen, Christ will come again” has found its place in the new Mass.

    My Request to You

I feel it is the bounden duty of every Catholic to know their Faith in order not to be seduced and led astray. I urge you to read
    i.   The Papal Bull Exsecrabilis of Pope Paul II, Jan. 18th 1459.
ii.   The Papal Bull cuм Ex Apostolatus Officio of Pope Paul IV, March 15th, 1559.
Both of these docuмents are the solemnly defined and infallible utterances of two legitimate Popes and Councils, for all time. (Note: the first of these was reaffirmed by Pope Pius IX at the Vatican General Council (Dogmatic Constitution of the Church I, Chapter III, Session IV, July 18, 1870).) How do these Papal Bulls relate to,
    i.   Vatican Council II
ii.   The Pope’s after Vatican II

For the moment I have paraphrased in essence these two Bulls. The unabridged version of these Bulls can be obtained from the net.

    The first Bull
Exsecrabilis says (in essence) that it is forbidden for anyone at all to appeal to any future Council against the infallibly declared and defined judgements of a Pope. Anyone doing so would incur excommunication (anathema) from which he cannot be absolved except by the Roman Pontiff and that at the point of death. To appeal to a Council against the Pope is called the heresy of Conciliarism.

    The second Bull
cuм Apostolatus ex Officio says (in essence) that if anyone before his elevation to the Cardinalcy or Pontificate, has deviated or apostasized from the Catholic Faith, or fallen into heresy, his subsequent election to these high offices is invalid and null.

John Paul II and Martin Luther
John Paul II admired Martin Luther and held Luther in esteem, though Martin Luther was already responsible for the damnation of hundreds of millions of souls who have embraced Protestantism.  At one time there was much talk that John Paul II might make Martin Luther a Saint.
    On Nov 16, 1980
On November 16th John Paul II addressed Catholics in Osanbrueck, Iceland, with the words,
“Encourage…your evangelical (Lutheran) brothers in a friendly and opportune manner, to bear witness to their faith, to strengthen and to deepen their form of the religious life in Christ.” (Fr. Louis Marie de Blignieres, John Paul II and the Catholic Doctrine, pp. 43-44)

    On Nov 17, 1980
John Paul II visited a Lutheran Church in Germany on the anniversary of Martin Luther’s birth and praised the “profound religiosity and spiritual heritage of Martin Luther.”
“Imagine a ‘vicar of Christ’ praising the ex-priest who hated the Church and who well may have done more harm to the Church than any other person. John Paul II did so and the person he praised was Martin Luther. Strange isn’t it?” (Fr.Francis Fenton, STL, Athanasian 1983. p.448)

The Edict of Worms condemned Luther whose,
“…teaching makes for rebellion, division, war, murder, robbery, arson and the collapse of Christendom.”
(The Edict of Worms was a decree issued by the Holy Roman Emperor Charles V damning the writings of Luther and labelled him a heretic. Issued on May 21st 1521.)

Canon William Barry wrote of Martin Luther “Never, perhaps, did a single man do so much harm to civilization by voice and pen.”(Canon William Barry, Four Centuries of Luther p. 8)
(Canon William Francis Barry: 21st April 1849 – 15th December 1930. British Catholic Priest, theologian, educator and writer. A professor of theology 1873-1877, Professor of divinity 1877-1880. Lectured both in Britain and the U.S.A.)

    On Oct 31, 1983
John Paul II praised, “The deep religious feelings of Luther who was driven with burning passion by the question of eternal salvation.”(L’Ossevatore Romano, Nov 11 1983).
John Paul II apologised for Martin Luther’s excommunication and said that it was a mistake. (A Voice Crying in the Wilderness 1-800-275-1126 ‘Has Rome Become the Seat of the Antichrist’ p. 8)

Martin Luther’s school of thought included such abominations as:
    i.   “Christ, who was so righteous must have been guilty of fornication before he died.” (The Angelus, 2918 Tracy Ave. Kansas City, MO. April 1998)
ii.   “Christ had to become that which we are, namely a sinner, a murderer, evildoer, etc.” (Sacerdotium Issue #1 (2899 East Big Beaver Rd., Troy, MI) p. 108)
iii.   “But it is not forbidden that a man should have more than one wife.” (Ibid, p. 109)
iv.   “Be a sinner and sin boldly, but believe and rejoice in Christ even more boldly.” (Ibid)

Pope Leo X excommunicated Luther in 1520. Luther’s birthday is December 11, 1483.
    On Dec 11, 1983
For the first time in History a ‘Pope’ visited a Protestant Temple. John Paul II preached in the Lutheran Temple of Rome to pay homage to the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther’s birthday. Was John Paul II acting in the name of the Church? Besides the fact that Luther was a heretic an apostate from religious life, we must recall that the Church celebrates the birthday of only three individuals, Jesus Christ (Dec 25); the blessed Virgin (Sept 8); Saint John the Baptist (June 24). By celebrating Martin Luther’s birthday was John Paul II inferring that we should put Luther on the same level with Jesus, Mary and Saint John the Baptist.
Also on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther’s birthday, the city of Eisenach, Germany had a special display in which Martin Luther and Karl Marx were placed side by side. This display carried a quote from Erich Honecker, Head of the Communist Party of Germany, praising the historical accomplishments of Luther. (Ibid p. 462, (Ref. Radecki Brothers, What Has Happened to the Catholic Church?  p. 264))

A short mention of the Catholic Church with Karl Marx - Communism
Communism is intrinsically evil as condemned by the Church. In truth Communism is not a Political Party instead it is a Religion of the Devil. Vatican II took extraordinary measures to prevent any condemnation of Communism and John Paul II never spoke against Communism. It appears that John Paul II was ignorant or he has forgotten the Soviet slave labour camps of the 1960’sand the massacre, deportation, the inhumanity, terror, barbarism, the starvation of millions, and “the Butcher of Ukraine – Khruschev” for exhibiting outstanding traits of the rule of Satan. Is it not tragic that the Catholic Church did nothing to support the struggles of 5 million Ukrainian Catholics in their struggle for the faith?

John XXIII said, “The Church is not a damn against Communism. The Church cannot and should not be against anything. It should be positively for something. (Rama Coomaraswamy, M.D., The Destruction of the Christian Tradition)
The front page headline of the May 2nd, 1967 issue of Look, was: “Christians and Communists, Strange New Bedfellows.” A drastic change was taking place within the framework of the Catholic Church. The change was being carefully monitored by the world.

    On June 6, 1989
And then on June 6th 1989 John Paul II went a step further in his promotion of the cause of Martin Luther. In speaking about Martin Luther’s excommunication, the Pope said that “What we need today most of all is a joint new evaluation of many questions raised by Luther and his preaching.” By saying this, was the Pope suggesting that Martin Luther was right and the Church was wrong? Did Pope Leo X make a mistake when he excommunicated Luther in 1520? (Are Today’s Seminaries Catholic – by Michael Depuis, Keith Roscoe, John Thomson p. 139)Popes don’t contradict each other.

    On Oct 5, 1991                      St. Peter’s Basilica
Homily of John Paull II at the Ecuмenical celebration of Lutherans and Catholics.
(The first such meeting since the Reformation)
“… for 25 years Lutherans and Catholics have been working to rediscover their common path. A glance at the past enables us to see what extent the paths travelled separately for several centuries are drawing progressively closer... With courage and confidence let us continue to draw closer to one another…”
This is heretical and heresy at its best, for it grossly violates ‘Mortalium Animos’ of Pope Pius XI.

On January 12, 1992                  General Audience
“Ecuмenism action should be encouraged so that… Catholics might collaborate with their separated brethren, insofar as it is possible, by a common profession before the nations of faith in God and by a common, fraternal effort in social, cultural, technical and religious matters.”(Felician A. Foy, OFM 1993 Catholic Almanac, p. 75.)
John Paul II wants Catholics to give up their faith because Martin Luther with others refuse to believe what Christ taught. It is clear that Vatican Council II taught heresy.

“The implementation of the conciliar docuмents would change the shape of the Catholic Church more dramatically than anything in the past 400 years – perhaps more than the Protestant Reformation.” (The Catholic World Report, September/October 1992, p. 29)
“No one event has such a devastating effect on the Catholic Church. Teachings from the council were primarily responsible for multitudes leaving the Church and joining other religions.” (What has happened to the Catholic Church- by The Radecki Brothers, p. 33)
What’s happened to Vatican II’s promise of ‘A New Pentecost and A New Spring Time to the Church?’ Vatican II told us lies. Today after 51 years the New Pentecost nor the New Spring Time has yet arrived. Or has “through some crack the fumes of Satan have entered the Temple of God.”(Paul VI in his discourse of June 29th, 1972). One cannot but help ask the question, “How did the crack come? How did the smoke of Satan enter the Church?”(Paul VI famous lament). The answer is anybody’s guess. The truth is that Vatican Council II opened up the Church to the ‘Prince of the World’ and Vatican II was poisoned even before it began.
The Archbishop of Genoa, Cardinal Siri, described Vatican Council II as,
“… the greatest disaster in recent ecclesiastical history.”
    Gordon Thomas/Max Morgan-Witts (Pontiff p. 369)

    Thank you.

The others will soon forget this article and go about their lives saying that JPII committed no material heresy or some other such rationalization.
The Vatican II church - Assisting Souls to Hell Since 1962

For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect. Mat 24:24
