It seems to me that Vigano is a Vatican 2 man, through and through. He just thinks Bergoglio went too far.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I've not read any reporting that suggests otherwise.
You have GOT to be kidding. Where are you getting this stuff? We've been following +Vigano for years, and he hasn't been a "Vatican 2 man" since June 9, 2020 when he reject V2 as intrinisically flawed and needing to be thrown into the dustbin (something even +Lefebvre never did). Since then he has declared that Jorge is a non-Pope, repeatedly rejected V2 as not Catholic, denounced the V2/Conciliar Anti-Church, has come one baby-step away from declaring Roncalli-Ratzinger also to have been Anti-Popes (and in fact implicitly does so if you read his latest), has received conditional episcopal consecration from Bishop Williamson (despite having originally been "consecrated" by none other than St. John Paul II Wojtyla the Great), and has now been excommunicated by the V2 sect for schism, for having rejected Bergoglio and the "magisterial authority" of V2 (even +Lefebvre was not excommunicate for that). He's gone far to the right of SSPX, and now to the right of the Resistance, and is basically in Sedeprivationist land. "Vatican 2 man" ... have you been asleep at the switch these past 4 years?
