I personally think that PG should be banned for his comments; indeed they are vile.  I don't recall having seen Meg's in relation to St. Louis.

Meg must be a daughter of Asmodeus if she was making vile remarks about St. Louis de Montfort; and PG is totally undercarbed - lacking in sugar, thus his irrational stance towards the good saint.

No, canonization is part of the teaching authority (not merely a legal thing) ... which is why it is said to be infallible.
Which is why the privationist stance makes more sense, because Frank is not formally the Vicar of Christ, thus his "canonizing" people can only be valid, since the material act is there from a material "pope", if the person is truly a saint in the Eyes of God.

Plus, how would you sort out after the fact which were legit and which weren't?

If, or when, God removes the eclipse of the Church, and He restores the formal Vicar of Christ, he can rule which canonizations were legit and which weren't.

Btw, I didn't vote down your comment.

I would think that the new (legit) Pope would simply canonize the worthy candidates himself.

As for the downthumbs, I have acquired one or two stalkers who follow me around in CI and downthumb every post ... even if it's something entire non-controversial.  This post will get downthumbed by the same clown(s).

LOL.  I kept refreshing the page.  It took less that one minute for the downthumb to show up.

I have a very good guess who one of them is, since I can see who's been active in the past 15 minutes.  There are a couple others in addition to her.
