And when this happens, the gates of hell will open...
Nah, most trads will just move the goal posts .... again.
For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect. (Matthew 24:24)

What do you mean?  They've been open since about 1958.

  • Remember they don't believe canonizations are infallible.

Now, now.  They say that only the new ones aren't infallible ... because they don't do enough research on the candidates these days.

  • If Newchurch "canonizes" a person who is actually a saint in the Eyes of God, I wonder if the material process makes the canonization legitimate, valid?

This question is not a defense of Paul VI. I don't think he is a saint, nor is JPII...

  • Since there is a long string of saints from Peter to, I think, the second or third century of when Our Lord established His Church, it's only fair for a parallel counterfeit church to canonize all it's new founders.

Pope Paul VI - for whom would he be a patron saint?

  • I went to that link and say an article entitled:  It's Official:  Pope John Paul I on his way to canonization and my first thought was "for what?  He was only Pope for 28 days or thereabouts."

I am going to make a prediction.  Within the next 20 years, Pope Benedict XVI and, if he passes soon, Pope Francis will also be canonized.

The Novus Ordo is canonizing all New Church Popes.

    .
At Vat.II they pressed the reset button.
    They started over.
    Reboot.
The devil never creates something new.
He just copies the tried and true.
The first time around all the first Popes were recognized as saints.
It took hundreds of years before a Pope was not rewarded with sainthood.
Newchurch figures it'll be great to get hundreds of years out of this revolution.
Therefore, Newchurch is canonizing all Newchurch popes.

  • I believe I remember Meg saying recently that there's a saint she doesn't believe was a legitimate saint, and this was a saint from a LONG time ago. Wish I could remember but maybe she'll let us know. It has something to do with the Saint's opinion about FE or GC etc...
Yes, Meg and PG have been making vile accusations against St. Louis de Montfort.  e.g.

That's pretty much a direct denial of the infallibility of pre-Vatican II canonizations.  PG in particular looks like a Protestant fifth columnist to me.

Maybe you knew of a now deceased priest named Fr. Luigi Villa? After reading some things he wrote, I'm convinced that Pope John Paul I was murdered for attempting ti "clean house" of the masons, as I recall he had been given a list of who they were around him. He was even heard fighting with the head of Vatican bank the night before he died.
I consider P.J.P. I a martyr and apparently other old folks do too. Go ahead and canonize him.
Many people say "For the Honor and Glory of God!" but, what they should say is "For the Love, Glory and Honor of God". - Fr. Paul of Moll

  • where does someone like me fit in... ?

I go to NO Mass but only because I have no choice and it IS (contrary to what here say) better than going to no Mass at all, sometimes it is very much so

But I don't believe that JP II is a saint. Has he been "canonized"? I've heard 2 different things

I don't belive John XXIII is either.. not hardly... not after instigating Vat II..

And whoever had the bright idea to abolish the Latin Mass? He is in league with the devil himself..

But still, there are some NO parishes that are good

  • Question, if a person is canonized a saint, when in reality they may be in hell, what does praying to such a "saint" risk? Your own salvation?

No. It is not better than not going to mass at all. I have no choice, either, and when I did go to the NO, it was bad to worse to absolutely revolting. It's attending mass with zombies with their hippie priests and it shrivels my heart and mind to think, this is what has become of Christ's church.
