Ok, here's the deal.
I merged XavierSem and his old account "Nishant" in the following way:
He is keeping his latest account, renamed "Nishant Xavier", with all his reputation score from his old account added. If you look up "Nishant" he has 0 upvotes and downvotes, and his account is technically marked "banned" but I gave a clearer explanation in the "Why was he banned" field. My forum software doesn't have more nuanced choices like "merged" or "disabled".
I just don't want one individual having two accounts in good standing -- 2 active accounts -- at once.
I've heard some criticism about Nishant, but not all that much really. I haven't even been forced to bring out the point that people don't seem to be downvoting him much. I just got an "alert" the other day that someone triggered the downvote limit (more than 13% of his total). Which shows that he's not getting a lot of downvotes from a broad group of people -- just a couple people whose nerves he treads on. But that's why I put in the downvote limiting in the first place. EVERYONE has a couple enemies.
And since this has been settled, at the cost of my valuable time I might add, I'm locking this thread, which no longer serves a purpose.
THIS VERY POST answers the original question definitively and finally.
