In the last century the Church made accomodations for people suffering in celiac disease and other gluten intolerances. But sadly, this happened after the council.
So this is my question: are low-gluten hosts valid? If somebody is a celiac, and wants to commune, is it licit to give him/her the Cup? And is it lawful to suppress the immune system of a twice-disabled person (eg celiac disaese with yeast (in the mustum) or grape intolerance) in the case that (s)he could commune? If the low-gluten hosts are invalid and giving the Cup to a layman is illicit, then I should focus more on my medical career. I wanted to eradicate celiac disease since 2009.
