  • I have read that it is demons who tempt men (and women) to ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ acts, but when successful, even they, as fallen angels, find repulsive such vile and unnatural acts.  Is cremation also a temptation of demons, to prepare a soul for the fires of eternal Hell?  I find cremation to be utterly repulsive and would never, ever consider such to be an option, and yet, it is the choice for a third of all millionaires who live in southern California, or so I have read.

Can we say, with moral certainty, that an individual who chooses to be cremated is in Hell?  Just some theological musings on this one, and as such, your opinions are welcome!

  • The introduction of cremation was a tactic of Masons to eradicate the faith in eternal life.

  • The church not only refuses burial to those who ARE cremated but to those who die with a written request to BE cremated without repealing the will, regardless of whether or not they're actually cremated.

The only time its ever permissable is when the dead body poses some imminent threat to thecommunity like if there's a plague or something.
"Be kind; do not seek the malicious satisfaction of having discovered an additional enemy to the Church... And, above all, be scrupulously truthful. To all, friends and foes alike, give that serious attention which does not misrepresent any opinion, does not distort any statement, does not mutilate any quotation. We need not fear to serve the cause of Christ less efficiently by putting on His spirit". (Vermeersch, 1913).

Even prior to Vatican II there was an exception for the people of Japan.
