  • I have been thinking that maybe by the e mail that was sent to Mr Q, that Bishop Williamson is  trying to reach out to the laity to see how much support he has.
He has been silenced and only has his newsletter which cannot be used to plead his case.  Im sure they are watching him like a hawk.  What they are doing to him sounds so evil!
    What are your thoughts?

  • I have heard several times that Bp. W is waiting until he's kicked out of the Society.  He will never make the move himself.  It's much like the situation that existed before WWII.  Roosevelt, (under the extreme influence of his Communist and Communist-inspired advisors, chiefly Harry Hopkins),  enticed Japan in every way to attack the U.S. first.  Making an illustrative comparison between FDR and +W is of course problematic.  I admire and respect +W.

  • I think you mean to compare Bishop Williamson to the Japanese.

    ;)

The leaders of the society would prefer to force Bishop Williamson to defy them over some convenient pretext for expulsion.

That would analagous to Bishop Williamson's "Pearl Harbor"

Hiring his own lawyer was going to cause him to "live in infamy."

  • I'm a supporter of Bishop Williamson. Hopefully he will remain in the SSPX.

  • Sometimes I wonder if it would not be better for the cause of truth if Bishop Williamson was out of the SSPX.  He would then be free to speak on issues that he has been silenced on.

Well, yeah, I suppose. The point being that +W looks for some provocation that will cause the Society to act first before he does.

I think the society is goading Williamson, not vice-versa.  Whether or not he will give the society a pretext to expel him is the question.  Now they're willing to threaten him over his legal representation.  Seems like they're going to tighten the screws.

I saw at your last post that my WWII illustration broke down.  What I meant, and did not explain very well, was that the +F= FDR and +W= Japan, the goader and the goaded.  No doubt, +F is trying to goad +W into quitting.  +F despises +W, and I don't throw that charge out lightly.

Yes, but then that puts the primary hope for Traditional Catholics around the world-the SSPX- into a bad spot. Without him it will probably turn modernist.

  • This thread....LOL

Right...because +W couldn't possibly means what he says because if he does it means he's not really interested in breaking of to start the paleo-SSPX...the SSPW...lol

Instead if he means what he says and is just giving info....then he really is die hard SSPX and in league with the terrible +F and Co...the neo-SSPX (LOL).....oh the horror...

But we know from +W's own propensity to fall for cօռspιʀαcιҽs that indeed a conspiracy must be here too...because the great and powerful Oz...er...+W....never makes a mistake....LOL

    Now serious...........

+W is a good member of the SSPX.  He is solid in theology, he is in line with the other 3 bishops on everything that they say...each has his own delivery and tone...but the message is ALWAYS the same from all 4.

+W will do his duty....get over it.

If he does not...then he will have proven a bad +....I suspect despite his antics and goofy opinions, and loud mouth...that he is a better man than that.

The word "cօռspιʀαcιҽs" comes up pretty often in your posts.  What are a few of these "cօռspιʀαcιҽs" which HE has fallen for?   We all know about your "propensity" to get something going, but never really finishing.  Scipio, are you a Roman Catholic?  Do you attend an SSPX chapel?
