The allegation that admissions under torture are not very reliable is false. I would suggest reading Isabella Of Spain by Walsh.

When the Judaic Yuce Franco was tortured to get him to reveal the location of the corpse of the martyred Holy Child of la Guardia( St Christopher), he revealed where the body was. Sure as Shinola, the body was there so the torture did not result in a false cofession.

So, we are trusting the wordsa nd actions of a Judaic then to form our opinion of Savonarola?????Yup, that is concrete.....you do know in many Catholic nations, Jews could not testify against a Catholic, right??

so far, poor leads you give me and no links, sources quoted, nothing at all.......

as for the body, maybe it was common knowledge....anyone knows though torture rarely ever elicits anything.......if I was tortured, I likely would babble something true, but suspect would be the information they want me to say, like if I was Al Queda or something..sure I woudl tell them truths that wre ingrained, for isntance, my personal or faily history or things I beleive in........but amazing how with time, pain and the right drugs or techniques, I would somehow admit to being a master mind of World islamic revolution or something........

again, you got nothing but anger and false/baseless accusations.....
