Interesting post and link, Andy.
I think we need to take a wait and see approach to all of this.
If any action is to be taken, it is that we should more fervently pray to Our Lord and Our Lady.

I know St. Faustina is a divisive character for some Trads, but look what she wrote in her Diary:
“I have offered this day for priests. I have suffered more today than ever before, both interiorly and exteriorly. I did not know it was possible to suffer so much in one day. I tried to make a Holy Hour, in the course of which my spirit had a taste of the bitterness of the Garden of Gethsemane. I am fighting alone, supported by His arm, against all the difficulties that face me like unassailable walls. But I trust in the power of His name and I fear nothing.”
This diary entry is from December 17, 1936.
What else happened on that day?
Jorge Mario Bergoglio-Pope Francis-was born.
Coincidence? Or warning?

Excellent points from Christopher Ferarra about "the Synod":

So much for all that "hope" that Francis I would be any more "orthodox" in his formal statements than in his "off the cuff" remarks.

I don't see how any well-informed Catholic can defend Pope Francis. The office of the Papacy, yes, but Pope Francis, no. The author of the article also appears to be pro-charismatic renewal, and they tend to be speak favorably of Francis. He's the worst pope ever. I can't being myself to pray for him, but I hope that others do. The only good thing to come of this papacy is that he will wake Catholics up to the Modernist heresy. It will be more difficult to deny the Crisis with Francis as the Pope.

We should write many letters to Rome inorder to correct these errors which deny Christ.
