I have read that the post-Vatican II church will not allow an Orthodox Christian to convert to Catholicism. Is this true? If so, what would such an indvidual do? If that person came into the Church via the SSPX or some other traditional Catholic group, then what? Would a Norvus Ordo priest offer the Sacraments to such an individual or would he/she be stuck with the SSPX?
Kaspar and waaay too many others ahve largely aid this, everyone is saved in their own sect, etc.......even the wording of v2, changing the formula-the body of Christ
is the Catholic Church, to "subsists", meaning seperate entities with one inside the other.....not one and the same......
being "stuck" with SSPX is not a bad thing at all..recently out-of-town and at a 8 AM Mass prior to boarding plane.......place was packed w/kids, young adults, older folks and long confesisonal line.......
