Concerning the events having to do with England going into schism and heresy in the 1500s, does anyone know if there was a particular group behind them? I wonder if especially Roscoe might know.

The answer to this question is found in the greatest of all historical docuмents(next to the historical books of the Bible). This book by Walsh is Philip II. The answer to the question is of course that the Freemasons existed previous to their public debut in 1717.

You can ALWAYS find that the тαℓмυdists were meddling in the affairs of those who fell into heresy, etc. They were very active throughout the period of revolution that spawned Protestantism.

It is very distressing to see how Chas V and Leo X sit on their hands while the Reformation progresses. And why Philip put Elizabeth on the throne(and therefore Cecil in power) is another disaster. He was apparently afraid of giving the throne to the Queen of Scots because he feared the power of France, but then he marries Isabel De La Paz(daughter of Catherine De Medici) and makes peace with France anyway.
