I do not know if there is an infallible decree re: Templars. During this golden age of the Church, there were many chroniclers and as such an extremely large amount of evidence exists about the case.

I would enjoy a debate with some one who defends them-- is that what U want? This has occured in the past and the general conlusion of this place was about 12 votes to convict and I think there was only one person who was on record as defending them-- I cannot remember who it was but I believe they are banned now.

No I do not want a debate, sorry.

You said; "it is the decision of Holy Church that the Templars were guilty' so all I want is some official evidence from Holy Church.

Can you supply that?

The extensive evidence proving Templars guilt has been given in this Forum repeatedly and if U don't want to debate it, I would suggest a review of my posting history.

After reading some of the overnight comments, my thoughts re: St Bernard should be made clear.

I am not challenging the canonisation of this man-- only objecting to Raoul's characterisation of him as a 'super mega saint' and pointing out that he did make mistakes.

For one thing( like a 'sede vacantist') I have never heard of a 'super mega saint'.

Was it Bernard or Peter of Cluny who debated Abelard, then nursed him when he got sick from losing the debate?

This so reminds me of the debate between Raoul and Caminus.
