  • A point to be made is great harm has already been caused. The clever manipulation and corruption of the youth and the conciliar church has been a key ally in pushing this nefarious agenda. A friend of my mothers is very upset and disillusioned with the novus ordo structure. A 'Catholic' school principal sided with a boy who wants people to believe he is 'transgender'.
Even in a letter the school principal referred to the boy as a she. My mothers friend doesn't want a boy in the girls changing room at the school but the school principal seems to disagree. Her daughter and others have objected to this weird boy in their changing room at school. That boy that thinks he is a girl should get necessary treatment

From time to time you read of more and more homeschooling which is encouraging.

Most Irish cities and larger towns have these 'pride' festivals for the queers.

Charity Glen to close following review after financial issues raised

The gαy and Lesbian Equality Network is to close following a review of its operations.
Glen said it cannot return to financial viability while maintaining services.
The charity was mired last month in controversy when it emerged that the Charities Regulator was looking into its finances and has requested three years of credit card statements and accounts.
It is understood that the Charities Regulator has not at this stage begun a statutory investigation.
Three employees are being made redundant.
Its outgoing executive director, Áine Duggan, resigned saying she raised financial issues and made the voluntary disclosure to the regulator.

One of its founders, Kieran Rose, also resigned from the organisation saying he regretted that he had not declared supports given by Glen to him during his Seanad campaign and he said he had paid back over €11,000.
Glen was set up in 1988 to promote gαy rights and was a prominent backer of the 2015 Marriage Equality campaign.
The Health Service Executive had withheld some monies from Glen for 2017.
The author of the report into alleged financial irregularities at Glen said the charity was facing challenges on five different fronts.
Speaking RTÉ's Morning Ireland, former senator Jillian Van Turnhout said most organisations could weather one front, but not all five.
She paid tribute to the three staff working in the organisation.
Ms Van Turnhout stressed that there was no misappropriation of funds in Glen, but she described the use of credit cards at the charity as "incredibly poor practice", although it came from a good intention to not leave employees out of pocket if they paid for things for the organisation.
She said such credit cards should never be used for personal purposes.
She said the charity could attract funding for individual projects but could not get funding for its core activities, which meant it did not have a reserve fund.
Ms Van Turnhout said the organisation was under review from the Charity Regulator, not under investigation.
However, the second the controversy went public "not a cent" came in from funders to the organisation.
She said the board had always prioritised the community it serves and the helpline provided by Glen would continue.

  • An article from 2013. In 2005 the same University locked out Gianna Jessen. She was forced to speak in the corridor after security locked the lecture hall.

NUIG suspends Legion of Mary college society over leaflets

Authorities at the National University of Ireland in Galway have suspended the Legion of Mary as a college society.
A4-sized posters that triggered the suspension of the organisation were placed on a noticeboard outside the library reading room last week.
The poster in question was from a grouping calling itself the Courage Community.
It invited people with "same sex attractions" to "develop an interior life of chastity ... to move beyond the confines of the ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ label to a more complete identity in Christ".
The poster stated that this "purity matters initiative" was in conjunction with the NUIG Legion of Mary society.
NUI Galway says it is committed to protecting the liberty and equality of all students.
It reviewed the actions of the society in the context of the University's code of conduct and policies governing harassment.
This led to the immediate suspension of the Legion of Mary. It is understood the society had only a handful of members.
In the region of 70 complaints were received.
The Societies Chairperson at the University, Patrick O'Flaherty, said he had been contacted by a number of students who were upset or felt threatened by the content of the poster.
Representatives of the Legion did not respond to an invitation to attend a meeting to consider the issue.
However, after the suspension was imposed, a committee member did write to the group apologising for any distress that had been caused.
She said the content on the docuмent had been taken direcly from a website. It was not aimed at attacking any person or group of people and was not intended to hurt or offend.
The group had applied for status as a college society in September of this year and at one point had around 100 members.
As part of the application to become a fully-fledged society, its committee was asked to provide information as to its aims and objectives.
This did not happen. Concerns about the lack of clarification contributed to the decision to suspend the society.
In a statement, the University said it would not condone the production and dissemination of any material by students which discriminated against other students.
The Legion of Mary has apologised for any hurt caused.

  • They have sent a Nigerian to Ireland. Fewer and fewer Irish are attending Novus Ordo churches. He replaces the American Charlie Brown. Brown was several years in Ireland before being sent to Albania in recent times
Is there a problem with having a Nigerian replace an American (Charlie Brown - nice name!) as Papal Nuncio?
Help of Christians, guard our land from assault or inward stain,

  • Jacinta and Lucia thought the "reign of Pius XI" referred to a French King.

St Vincent Ferrer, who raised more people from the dead than perhaps even Our Lord Jesus Christ, adhered to an anti-pope, because he was not very up-to-date with affairs at Rome, and apparently did not consider it a priority.

This notion that we have to "pay attention to the Vatican" came mainly from the obsessions the press generated with its daily coverage of Pius XII and his endless stream of radio addresses and allocutions, as though all the problems of the world can be solved in front of a microphone or from a podium. Trust me, if anything consequential happens, you will know.  In the meantime, pray for the conversion of Popes Frantic and Benedict.

According to the Cronicles of the Catholic Church in Lithuania the Communists very much paid attention to what the Vatican radio said.

I agree, catholics used to spend all their time "paying attention to their Bishop", which gave bishops much more local power and motivated them to watch over their flocks because no one else could.
The new-age, papal celebrity ideal is a modern thing, only made possible by technology.  While increased access to the pope has many advantages, it's been corrupted.
