Dear Mr Hutton's death has not yet made the news. I have to wonder if his family is deliberately holding off on any announcement, to postpone as long as possible the rabid howling of the secular entertainment media --- TMZ, Variety, Entertainment Tonight et al. Besides, he wasn't an entertainer or a public figure, except in traditional Catholic circles. He was a private citizen. He just happened to be Mel's father.

May he rest in peace, and may his loved ones be comforted.

I am praying for Hutton Gibson and his entire family. I am saddened to hear of his passing. He was a great and holy man.
