  • What do you think? He seems to accuse sedevacantists and perhaps other traditional Catholics of Jansenism or something like thereof. I don't mean this to attack at all. I want to listen to genuine critiques of what he says. Thank you.

  • The title of the video would be a more complete history of Jeremiah Bannister if it were "From atheist to Calvinist to Novus Ordo to SSPX to sedevacantist to Dimondism to hardcore atheism and then to indult traditionalism."

Jeremiah Bannister has rushed through religious positions like a tempest. I am glad he has returned to the Church after apostatizing (he apostiazied pretty bad and reverted after his teenage daughter's death). But he really is not all that stable in his beliefs and is the last person who should be giving advice on the crisis. As far as his specific claims go (I watched this video years ago when it first came out but don't remember all the details), they honestly strike me as vague and attention seeking.
"Be kind; do not seek the malicious satisfaction of having discovered an additional enemy to the Church... And, above all, be scrupulously truthful. To all, friends and foes alike, give that serious attention which does not misrepresent any opinion, does not distort any statement, does not mutilate any quotation. We need not fear to serve the cause of Christ less efficiently by putting on His spirit". (Vermeersch, 1913).

Just wanted to say that I appreciate your responses, which seem to be always well-measured and never hyperbolic.
