    How This Crisis Ends

    Any knowledgeable Catholic recognizes that the Catholic Church is currently in a crisis, the effects of which have been staggering. If one adds up the decline in numbers of baptisms, marriages, and vocations, coupled with the silent apostasy of millions of lapsed and “former” Catholics since the end of Vatican II, the figures would be shocking. Many words have been written about the causes of the crisis and volumes published docuмenting every last detail of the destruction it has caused. However, to my knowledge, little has been written attempting to explain how the crisis might one day successfully be resolved.

    As with most Church crises in the past such as the Arian Crisis and the Great Western Schism, it was hard for Catholics living in those times to envision a way out, and indeed many died not knowing what eventual resolution might take place. History has, of course, shown us how these crises were resolved, but the crisis we face now, like all true crises, is unique and has no exact precedent. Thus, the future is uncertain. We may be tempted, as Catholics in the past no doubt were, to think that our crisis may become permanent, to think extreme and theologically dangerous measures are needed to resolve it, or to, God forbid, throw up our hands in frustration believing the Church has somehow failed.

    In this article, I will first show why various proposed solutions to the crisis are deficient or unworkable and then I will attempt to propose what a successful resolution might eventually look like.

    I don't think I'll hold my breath though.

    I think the crisis will end with massive destruction, when the few left will get on their knees and really return to God. (I've never been accused of being a bubbly optimist ;))

    I'm not surprised that you seek Cathinfo comments on this site and not the Remnant's.( Would they even allow it?)
    By the way, "The Great Facade" was co-written by Tom Woods.

    The crisis will end at the onset of the reign of the Immaculate Heart- whatever way she chooses to end it. It will be Heaven sent. There is no earthly solution to the filth and degradation that has invaded the spotless Bride of Christ.

    • I don't think there are enough cardinals to elect a traditionalist pope. I am only aware of one traditionalist Bishop (other than the SSPX and independent and sede Bishops), Bishop Athanasius Schneider, and he is not a cardinal, and is only an auxiliary. There must be other traditionalist Bishops but I don't ever hear from them. I am always hearing about neocon Bishops and heretic Bishops.

    Yes, and there's also no human fix for the decline of human society, either.  (Many would say that these are interrelated.)  Even various non-trad priests believe that only divine intervention can possibly reverse the downward spiral of both realms, but obviously we don't know yet what form that intervention will take and when it will happen.

    Vigano is also trad. A dude in this telegram I am in claims he knows of a Maronite bishop who says the TLM sometimes. I hope God enlightens more prelates to restore Tradition in Vatican.

    • Chris, your piece at The Remnant may be of interest to persons new to Tradition. For those of us who have been in Traddieland for decades, it provides little new information.

    For myself, I do not see the crisis in the Church and world ever ending. Even should the consecration of Russia ever happen according to the form required by the Fatima apparitions, the promise is only that of "peace", not a resolution to the crisis of Modernity. We are in this madness until our Lord returns. I say this in hope, not despair!

    Our Lady of Fatima said "In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph and a period of peace will be granted to the world."
    Inherent in her words is the end of heresies (including modernism).

    She, prophecized that when all hope seems lost concerning the crisis in the Church she will intercede and restore the Church.

    During this time, Mary holds the Child Jesus, who also prophesized to Mother Mariana, He said. "I will preserve this Church, so beloved by Me, until the consummation of time. It will be strongly attacked but never conquered."


     Moments would come when everything would seem to be lost and paralyzed, but that would be the moment, she promised, of the "happy beginning of the complete restoration." "My hour will arrive," she foretold, "when I, in an amazing manner, will overthrow proud Satan, crushing him under my feet, chaining him in the infernal abyss, leaving the Church and the land free of this cruel tyranny."



    Thus, while the message of Our Lady of Good Success is quite sad and serious, it is also one of great hope. It is the promise echoed by Our Lady at Fatima in 1917: "In the end, My Immaculate Heart will triumph."

    She translated a copy of a Portuguese translation, and as they say, something was lost in that translation.

    Check out what this Traditional Catholic priest has to say about Our Lady's name at that apparition.

    • Thank you to both of you for providing what information you have.  The material doesn't really say "when," however, as an earlier post implied.  Nevertheless, it is easier for me to believe in Mary's intervention to restore the Church than to believe that evil governments will not continue to persecute Christians, including the U.S. government.  I'm not sure why a Catholic Church restored to Tradition would affect atheists, modernists, and anti-traditionalists in positions of worldly power.

    • The video is great and makes me wonder!  

    Cera posted a longer version of this same priest speaking about "Our Lady of Good Success," her true title wrongly translated, it was more detailed if you care to watch it the link is here at the starting point of this subject.  prophecy portion of said vision  The priest mentions when she will help us!

    The fact that within the prophecy she said, I will intercede when all HOPE is gone, tells me when!  I almost feel that way now; fearing, however,  things will get worse in the world.  How can it get worse?  Taking away our religious.  Killing them!  I pray not!  I can't imagine that would happen in America.  This prophecy (from the Bible)  if interpreted correctly, the "Woman," meaning Church was given wings ...  

    "And there were given to the woman two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the desert unto her place, where she is nourished for a time and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent."[Apocalypse (Revelation) 12:14]  The 'eagle' (America).
