  • Something I've spent a lot of time pondering lately are the many divisions among traditionalists, with so many people claiming that they are correct and all others are wrong -- and, of course, name-calling, etc.

I worry whether this will cause me to despair.

Is the situation really as bad as it appears? How do we know that we are right and all the others are wrong?

  • In a crisis like this, the best one can hope for is moral certitude on matters unsettled and unconsidered by the Church.  It does all well to remember this, as it would save much grief, backbiting, infighting, and general protestantism.
"Be kind; do not seek the malicious satisfaction of having discovered an additional enemy to the Church... And, above all, be scrupulously truthful. To all, friends and foes alike, give that serious attention which does not misrepresent any opinion, does not distort any statement, does not mutilate any quotation. We need not fear to serve the cause of Christ less efficiently by putting on His spirit". (Vermeersch, 1913).

  • Stay close in prayer with Our Lady.  She is the One for getting rid of heresies, errors and anything you can bring to her.  there is Our Lady of Knots.  Really!  She can help to steer you right!  The City of God, The Glories of Mary have readings of the powers God has given Her.  Our times, now, is Our Lady's time.  Go to Her!

  • Whenever I feel a sense of anxiety sweep over me, I instantly turn to Our Lady and sing this hymn,
which always gives me peace, hope, and joy in the Lord. For She is the Theotokos, who brought
Christ God into the world to save us. How amazing -- Our Lady held within her arms her Creator!

    Quote
O Protection of Christians, that cannot be put to shame.
Mediation unto the Creator most constant.
O despise not the suppliant voices of those who have sinned,
But be thou quick, O Good One, to come unto our aid,
Who in faith cry unto thee.

Hasten to intercession and speed thou to make supplication,
Thou who dost ever protect, O Theotokos,
    Them that honor thee.

Last night, when reading all the news about the election fraud going on in the U.S. Midterm elections, at first I had trouble sleeping, so I started praying the Jesus Prayer.

    Quote
O Lord Jesus Christ, Son and Word of the Living God, through the prayers of the Most Pure Theotokos, have mercy on us and save us.
After praying it ten times, I fell asleep knowing that God is in control. That He will save us.
    Lord have mercy.
