I am curious to know for those who are sedevacantists. I noticed that once I posited the notion that Benedict might not be Pope to some people, basically 99% of the reactions were that I was a heretic, a schismatic, this, that, etc. Basically I was quickly condemned. What's amazing too is.. All of this is from the Vatican II "Catholics" who refuse to condemn anyone! Isn't it amazing how quickly they will change from "loving", "accepting" "Catholics" to vicious, bad willed vipers? These people also won't even listen to any of the reasons why I don't believe Benedict can be Pope. They just ignore what I say and say that I'm a heretic and so on. It makes NO SENSE to call people like Protestants and the so-called Orthodox "separated brethren" even though they're heretics but say that I'm a heretic for not denying any dogma.
I don't even claim that anyone who accepts Benedict as pope is a heretic. What I do claim is that there's no real way this man could logically be Pope, given what we know about Church teaching and that to accept his heresies and the heretical Vatican II is what makes you a heretic. In fact, how could I be a heretic when I don't deny any revealed dogma? I don't deny the papacy or papal infallibility. I accept those dogmas to the extent that I would deny someone who makes a complete joke of those dogmas like the VII "popes" have and reject their non-existent authority. It's not a dogma of the faith that any of the VII "popes" are true Popes. It's not even a doctrine, passed down by the Apostles and the Church Fathers that these men are true popes, so there's no way that reason, in and of itself, could possibly make me a heretic. This obviously drives them up the wall and their bad will is laid out for exhibition.
Novus Ordoite "Catholics" may be somewhat hostile to traditionalist Catholics, but that hostility is nowhere NEAR as scathing for traditionalists who accept Benedict than it is for those that don't.
How has being a sedevacantist (which I don't really even call myself because I don't care for that label) changed your life?
