You're not allowed to just make random vows; typically, in the past, vows had to be approved by a confessor/superior.  The idea of personal vows is prideful and dangerous. What is a "mass that lies"?

Again, our Faith is based on rules.  It's not based on "personal convictions".  We follow the Church, not our own thoughts.  If you have strong convictions and want to be a leader, then become a religious, where you'll have some authority which is controlled by the Church.  Otherwise, outside of being a priest, bishop, cardinal -- a person with true authority -- the rest of us are just laymen.  Our "convictions" don't count.  We have no authority.  We have no independence to do anything, except that which the Church allows.

The highest rule of religion is first, the 10 commandments.  The moral law.  The comes Church law, which also says we must attend mass on Sundays.

People who are 'home aloners', who live within 1 hour of a valid Traditional priest, MUST attend mass on Sundays.  It's the highest of laws.  There number of exceptions which would allow one to skip this requirement are very few.

People who come up with "convictions" as to why they can skip a valid Trad mass are being deluded by the devil.
The problem lies in picking a side.

A person who believes that SSPX is correct has to stay with the SSPX.  Until they become sure of something else.  It works the same for all the Trad groups that the Church has not decided on (r&r, sedeprivationist, total sede).   We can't just willy nilly switch between sides because that is based on feeling, not logic.

God won't fault a person in the Crisis for picking a side.  He will not fault us for debating our side.  He will fault us for becoming lax.  He will fault us for condemning others who have chosen something different.

AND I am sorry about the statement of the Mass that lies.  That is my personal position that I can't attend an una cuм Mass because I don't follow the authority of Pope Leo.  I would be lying.

If a person believes that they can't go to the SSPX because they give Pope Leo authority in name only and that is the only Mass they have access to, then they have to make sure they attend Mass during the Easter season.  That is the law of the Church.  True home-aloners believe that the Church dies with the last priest who was ordained before Vatican 2.  I don't  think that is what IndultCat believes.  He said he is a Sede.

10,000% disagree.  The only sides to choose are this -- Traditional (sspx/sede) vs New-Rome (novus ordo/indult).

This whole Trad sides thing is a novelty.  It didn't exist in the 70s, 80s and 90s.  It was born out of boomer clerics (sspx and sedes) who were still mad at each other from the split of "the nine" in the early 80s.  +Fellay took over the sspx and started attacking Sedes.  The "nine" became Sede leaders and then created 'una cuм' to attack the sspx.  It's all emotionalism and garbage theology.

We know from history that when there was ACTUALLY an 'una cuм' debate between 2 and 3 popes, there were saints on both sides.  So 'una cuм' is NOT a moral issue.  SO THERE'S NO REASON TO PICK A SIDE IN TRADITION.

If you want to pick a "group" purely for social/geographic/priest preference reasons, fine.

But when the sspx attacks sedeism for being 'schismatic' and when the sedes attack the sspx for being 'in union with a heretic', THEY ARE BOTH WRONG.  AND THEY WILL BOTH BE GUILTY FOR ALL THE PEOPLE WHO "CHOSE SIDES" AND BECAME HOME ALONERS AND MISSED MASS.

Each and every single mass that a 'Sede home aloner' misses because they don't go to the sspx mass, WILL BE PUT UPON THESE CLERICS.  All of these mortal sins.

To miss mass is to not glorify God.  It is a heinous mortal sin.  It is a gross negligence of the PRIMARY duty of man, which is to worship God.  It is one of the main reasons, in all of history, that God punishes mankind.  Sins of the flesh can abound everywhere, and God is merciful.  But once the people stop Sunday worship, God sends his justice.

And we wonder why God won't answer our rosaries for the consecration of Russia.  When we have 2 Trad groups fighting it out, using bad logic, garbage theology and emotionalism to divide the people.  All in the name of trying to be "no 1" Trad group.  Truly they are doing the devil's work.

You don't see this stuff going on in Europe (that I know of.  They are probably fighting about something else).  This is all americana stupidity.  Sports think.  I win, you lose.  Pathetic.  And REAL MORTAL SINS are being committed because of it.  Home aloneism (except due to location) is a pathway to hell.  For those clerics who push it and those laity that follow it.  You better wake up.

Sure. There isn't any Sedevacantist chapels near me and I no longer wish to financially support any of the other groups. I would love to attend mass and receive sacraments by any CMRI or other Sede groups but none are around my residence.

Also, I'm very disappointed in Bp. Sanborn's recent behavior as he has recently become a "Super Chat Bishop" with that layman Stephen Heiner. I never thought such a good Catholic bishop like him would stoop so low as to preach about rejecting most of the modern world while simultaneously using one of its most abhorrent technological creations, the "Super Chat", as a way to subtly fleece Catholics of their money. That makes him no different than any of the other insufferable  "Trad Grifters" like Matt and Marshall.

Yeah, not a fan of the "Super Chat" nonsense.  I first saw grifter Taylor Marshall using it, but then I always knew he was a grifter ... just was disappointed in Bishop Sanborn.  That obviously wouldn't prevent me from going to their Masses nor would I even condemn it as sinful ... just "low class" and potentially mildly scandalous, since you could be considered grifter, which in turn might discredit your message.

The bold happens because we have turned healthy discussions into mud flinging fests.  Didn't theologians debate their differences all the time?  With each debate didn’t the ideas become better formed and understood? Wasn't the last step to have the Pope declare it to the Church?

AND as for Russia and the consecration.  It wasn't done when it was suppose to, so we don't really know what would happen next.

If the person believes it is sinful to go to a sede mass, then they can't go.  Lukewarmness is grown out of not taking a stance.  Don't you think God will show mercy to those in good Fairh, because we don't have a Pope to solve the issue?

Pax, I understand where you are coming from and I learned that human respect is also a sin.  I would rather just go along to get along, but I think God wants more from us.  That is why things are still a mess 60 years later.

The OBLIGATION to attend mass on sundays and holy days is both DIVINE LAW (i.e. 3rd commandment) and also a Church law.  There are very, very clear exceptions to this law (i.e. illness, no valid mass within 1 hour, other grave reason.) all spelled out in canon law, morally theology, etc.  The matter is settled and has been, for centuries.

Anyone who argues that to go to the sspx mass is morally wrong, has lost their marbles.

These 'home aloners' are ignoring Divine Law, Church Law, Canon Law, moral theologians, etc.  I wouldn't want to be them on judgement day.

Clerics cannot dispense from divine/church law.  They do not have the power or authority.  I wouldn't want to be them on judgement day.
