For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect. (Matthew 24:24)

  • I'm sure they're writing a "definitive" 800-page tome on it right now
"Be not therefore solicitous for tomorrow; for the morrow will be solicitous for itself. Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof." [Matt. 6:34]

"In all thy works remember thy last end, and thou shalt never sin." [Ecclus. 7:40]

"A holy man continueth in wisdom as the sun: but a fool is changed as the moon." [Ecclus. 27:12]

Maybe RomanTheo can shed some light on this....

I still chuckle about how they spent nearly 1,000 pages claiming that Bellarmine's opinion is identical to Cajetan's ... even though Bellarmine himself says otherwise.

  • I have to wonder if even they really care.

And how Fr. Cekada literally dismantled the book point-by-point and tossed it in the bin

    This👍👍👍   😂😂😂
For what doth it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and suffer the loss of his own soul? Or what exchange shall a man give for his soul?

Of course, it's a joke hyperbole on my part, since they didn't spend the ENTIRE book on that thesis, but a significant portion of it.

  • Why would they care? They can't push Sedevacantist hate as effectively by pushing RnR in this instance, plus because of the brazen nature of the MP people are probably more open to thinking about SV. If I were trying to push people away from SV from all costs for the above reasons I wouldn't touch it the MP at all. It's a purity spiral.
